Welcome to the INDEX. The INDEX is where I'll be posting several "white whale" role-plays that I have come up
with but have not exactly kicked off or lived very long. Some of them are fandoms and some of them
are original ideas. If you happen to be interested in any of them do not hesitate to post here or pm me.
The sole purpose of throwing out all my white whales for all of Barton OOC to see is to hopefully find role-players who
are willing to try something new. A kickstarter recruitment campaign you could say?
Please do not post until I have reserved some post spaces. Thanks!
P.S. Please do not steal any of these plots/layouts. o u o y
In the near distant future, mankind underwent a certain peculiar event. At a certain UN world summit meeting in Geneva, a mysterious figure interrupted the conference. Clad in a medieval knight's armor, the ominous stranger warned all the countries that a great change was coming that would sweep through the world like a mighty wave. Those who fought against it would perish into nothing. The only way to survive was to adapt with that wave of change and create something new that would ensure every country's survival. The council members were all going crazy when the stranger was finished with their prophecy. The armored figure then ran off and disappeared after that. Security was not able to apprehend the culprit and the meeting ended early thanks to the speech's outburst. Investigations and diagnostics underwent as people all over the world tried to figure out who this stranger was and what exactly they meant by "change". It was the buzz of the world. But what people didn't realize at the moment of the speech was that there was no need for translators. Everyone understood what the speaker was saying at the same time.
This change that the speaker was talking about was already starting even before that UN conference. All over the world people were already feeling the change that was spoken. From tiny mountain villages to large mega cities. And what exactly was triggering the change? Why humans themselves. Or should I say certain humans. They were not exactly normal these humans. They're the type you can pick out from a big crowd right off the bat. The ones that always were in the spotlight. The ones you would fear, idolize, adore, and even feel happy in their midst. These people were the sole reason of such change. Their existence though is a strange story that may not seem believable. You see these great people are in fact reincarnations of great people from the past. Historical figures that changed the world in olden times. Figures originating from a multiple of time periods and areas. Ranging from the last couple decades to the oldest points of time. From the "New World" in the West to the oriental East. Whoever they may be, woman, man, warrior, leader, politician, scientist, philosopher, farmer, the sands of time have unearthed all of them. The reason for their existence is nothing but a mystery.
Farther in the future, to be specific a mere year after the uproar in Geneva, there are now rumors of a group being formed containing powerful incarnates and people. They call themselves "ARC" and they find it is their duty to protect incarnates and the world from anything humanity level threatening, including rogue incarnates. The other main purpose of their creation is also figuring out the mystery behind the incarnate's existence. In response to such rumors, another agency was created in the interest of incarnates called "CHESS" and to protect themselves from incarnates alike. Humanity's shield they like to call themselves. Conflicts and troubles will soon arise with the creation of these two groups as they're the main players of this game of fate.

In an instant you find yourself in an unknown place. Well I don't even think place can be described where you are. It was more like space. Black space that seemed to go on endlessly like a shadowy abyss. The only things that seem to stand out are yourself and eight other figures. None of them seem familiar at all. But you can tell they're human. You start venturing forward towards them. Some of them do the same while others stay put. There are different reactions. Some are panicking, others curious, some don't seem to care. There's a mix of races it seems but what does this mean? Why are you gathered here? It seems the others don't know. Well the ones you can communicate or want to communicate with at least don't know. Then in the middle of your chaotic conversation with the others, you are suddenly interrupted by a voice with an enigmatic tone. You turn your head to find what seems to be figure plumped up in a gaudy, flamboyant, and alien style of clothing. You can't tell if the figure is human thanks to their absurd outfit but that's not what's on your mind anymore. This person seems to know why you, and these eight others, are here in this dream like fantasy. In fact, it seems they were the culprit. The figure had brought all of you together to this very place to hint that they were soon going to be brought to another world. A place that was unlike Earth and had no sort of ties in the least. And in this world there were many a troubling times. Doom lied in the future of this world. Such gruesome fate laid for all its inhabitants and a dark cloud would soon set. But apparently you, and the others, were to be brought there to turn these events. The fate of an entire world laid in the hands of you and your destined comrades. The figure once again reminds you that in five days you will be transported to this other world. In these five days, the figure advises you to prepare and even pack. And in the figure's final words your vision begins to get blurry.
"Once you return to your world you must take note of your time. For in exactly one hundred twenty hours, you will be brought into this deviant domain. Take heed, strangers. For you will all encounter hardships, troubles, tragedies, difficult decisions and new experiences throughout your journey. Your first step is to head for Paladonis. There your battle will begin. Now awake."
You awaken. Wherever the hell you are for some unknown reason you rush to find the nearest device that keeps track of time. Finally you are relieved to find out the time but some of you still don't seem to buy it. Some of you aren't taking this seriously. Some of you half a** it or even forget to prepare. But soon you will find it will be true in the end and your destiny awaits in this deviant domain. Try not to screw up.

Blackness. Then whiteness. You find yourself awakening with a start. With a cold sweat upon your brow, you sit up and begin to calm yourself down. Finally after regaining your composure, you notice the room that you're in. It's quite plain but it seems to be a traditional sort of room with tatami mats on the ground and a shoji as the room's door. Nothing seems to stand out being that there's a small desk with a chair and a banner with a distinct color. You stare at the banner in confusion as written write on it is a name. This name begins to echo in your mind and the color burns into your eyes. You know this is your name but anything more than that is a blur. Is this even your room? Is this even your house? You start to panic and head to the shoji and throw it open. Outside in the hallway is a little bit different. You see right across from your room are windows showing a courtyard containing a beautiful garden and pond. Light, nature, the scenery calms you down again but you're not satisfied still. You storm down the hallway and find yourself heading towards the door. The exit to this mysterious house. You think that possibly going outside will help with finding out where you are and who you are. But you are left with more questions as you walk outside and fall into darkness. You are screaming now as you fall into the black emptiness with no landing in sight. But suddenly you jolt into a stop and you find a large gold chain has tied you to what seems to be the house. From there you awake again in that same old room with a start. You notice the banner again and this time you find that there's a gold chain hanging from it. Walking up to the banner, you then clasp your hands around the chain and break it off from the banner with your name. You know there is no leaving this place just yet. You still have a destiny to fulfill.
Earth's in danger once again. What is it this time? An interdimensional as well as time traveling warring empire that is bent on conquering all time and space. They call themselves the Neoxes Empire. Filled with different kinds of people, aliens, and anomalies in their ranks. The Neoxes Empire has finally descended to the dimensions of Heroes where they found our world/s guarded by many different heroes and heroines. With advanced technology beyond anyone's imagination, the Neoxes successfully stripped every hero of their powers. Soon there was nobody left to protect Earth/s and everyone watched as the Neoxes invaded without needing to fire any sort of weapon. Everyone had given up hope and the Neoxes assumed control with ease. But suddenly an unknown great power selected several distinct people from Earth (All from different dimensions) to hold a great power to use against the Neoxes Empire. Each person held something different that made them ideal to oppose the Neoxes. But upon being chosen, each person lost their "identity" and were all one by one brought to the "house" in order for them to fulfill their destiny.
This is their story as they struggle to fight against the Neoxes Empire and try to find a way "home".
Welcome to the World of Pokémon...
Pokémon. The subtle creatures known in the world of Pokémon as the main reason of the creation of life. Pokémon molded the universe, harnessed it, cared for it, and took it as their own. Without them the Pokémon World would just be a world that would never had existed in the first place. In the world of Pokémon we have many regions already popping up. The Unova region, Sinnoh, Oblivia, Almia, Fiorre, Hoenn, and Johto. Of course there are many more that haven't been mentioned or revealed but our story begins in the Kanto region long, long time ago.
Professor Samuel Oak. Renowned Pokémon Researcher. Is known not only for his Pokémon research but his poetry recitals over the air. He has just created a remarkable invention. An invention that has data on all of the Pokémon known to man. (At that moment all 150+) We've come to an age where Oak has just made the first batch of Version I Pokedéxes ready. What exactly he intends to do with them is not known. He, Samuel Oak, was once a great battler so of course he would like to give these to young Pokémon trainers who will embark on their journey to find out who they really are. And in the process maybe become somebody that would even surprise themselves. Though this world is not just all fun and games. Something sinister is looming in the shadows of this great Pokémon world. Because with all this good that comes with one thing there must be something bad that follows. An ominous organization calling themselves Team Rocket has suddenly reared their ugly head. Their plans? To make the world there's and have nothing stand in their way. Of course they probably aren't the only antagonistic forces out there so these future Dex Holders better get themselves ready for what's to come ahead of them.
And thus Professor Oak chose his first batch of Dex Holders. Some deserved it, some were obligated to receive one, some got one for the sake of getting out of Oak's hair, and some stole one. Whatever the case, the first bunch of Dex Holders all went on their somewhat separate ways but seemed to always bump into another through their journeys. Usually when Team Rocket was involved. Soon the Dex Holders showed signs of growth on their journeys with the Pokédex and banded together to take on Team Rocket in their final operation. Showing all the virtues of the ideal trainer (Courage, determination, chivalry, kindness, and friendship) the Dex Holders foiled Team Rocket's plans. But that was only the beginning. As time went by, the Dex Holders ranks began to grow as other regions began to construct newer versions of the Pokédex and bestowed these to new trainers. Many new evils continued to rise all over the Pokémon world as well. But every time they did, these Dex Holders would get in the way and in the end come out victorious. These once mighty organizations all falling one by one to these young trainers with electronic Pokémon dictionaries. How embarrassing.
It is the present time and the Unova region has once again been saved by the newest batch of Dex Holders. This is the second defeat of Team Plasma and it seems they won't be coming back any time soon what with the broken Ghetsis and Colress' leave from leadership. It is again thought that the Pokémon world can dwell in peace once again. Hopefully longer than two years. But that is not the case. A shadowed figure has watched the entire happenings of the Unova Region from behind a monitor. Sighing, he turns on his swivel chair to look at another monitor and a woman with blazing red hair and an interesting red mask is on another computer screen.
"Your orders, Master Noir."
"Have Boss Bleu and the Rocket Trio pick up the Triad and their broken doll of a master. "
"Understood, Master Noir."
"Has Professor Blanc finished with the blueprints to the armor and masks?"
"Yes he has, Master Noir. He's moved onto the portal machine."
The shadowed figure smirked in a pleased sort of fashion.
"Right on schedule. You know what to do next, Madame Rouge"
"Yes, Master Noir."
The monitor shuts off at that point and the shadowed figure, known as "Noir", returns his gaze on the initial monitor he was watching which is still showing news reports of Unova recovering quickly from Plasma's second attempt.
"Soon all will be mine."

The universe is a never ending thing. It can't be defined by basic rules of space and time. For it is space and time. It is everything. In the universe there is an infinite amount of worlds. Exotic worlds, dystopian worlds, historical worlds, gritty worlds, futuristic worlds, nightmare worlds, and modern "normal" worlds. There is an endless list of different types of worlds. But fortunately not everything is well in these worlds. Like every part of the universe, where there is good there is bad. These worlds are becoming lifeless and dark. Some have already fallen while others are just being destroyed.
Why you ask are such things happening to the worlds? There is a dark force that lives in a uninhabitable world called "Negas". This dark force has survived in this pitiable thing called a world through inhumane feelings. Calling themselves "Iom", the dark power forced open a gate between Negas and another world. From there it invaded that world and took it as its own. From there its hunger began to grow and one world was not enough. Iom began to cross through more bridges to different worlds and invaded them as well. Soon world after world fell to Iom and his ever growing power. But there stood a chance to stop Iom and his dark forces.
Certain beings that existed in the universe were granted certain gifts. From whom? Who knows really. Perhaps the universe decided to smile upon these people. These beings could traverse the universe with ease and harness the gifts that each world held. These blessed beings were dubbed "Travellers". The last hope to the darkness was the light of the Travellers. And this is where our story will begin...
In this story, our protagonists will start their new journey as travellers. This trek will span through time and space as they go through many different worlds. Their objective upon arriving in each new world will be to avert a crisis. A turning point or even a disaster of some kind that will cataclysmically change that world. Something that will change for the worse in that world and destroy the "heart of the world". Iom is clever, resourceful, terrifying, and ruthless. Iom has gathered many forces to wipe out our protagonists and have their journey come to a horrible end. But do not think travellers will be powerless. They have been selected and blessed by the universe of all things. This story will be a long one to tell...
Welcome to the world of Titan, a modern society in which advanced
technology and magic are able to coexist. Sitting at the far end of the universe,
this planet rivals the size of ten Earth's. Due to its vast size, Titan is left largely
unexplored, with massive chunks of area left untouched and some even
uncharted. However, everything took a turn for the better as the inhabitants of the
Ring, Titan's epicenter of commerce and development, progressed into their
renaissance age. As technology and magic sciences experienced incredible
strides in development, those brave enough decided to try their hand at the
vast unknown that was the planet of Titan. The first expedition proved widely
successful. New materials, excavation sites, artifacts, plants, and even exotic
animals were just a few of the many rewards the came hand-in-hand with
these dangerous expeditions. As the popularity of the concept of exploration
began to rise, companies soon began forming expedition teams left and right,
recruiting only the bravest and brightest to explore the depths of the New
World. This was the Age of Explorers.
Among these many companies, however, one in particular stood out. Known
solely as the Wings, this legendary company was notorious for always doing
its own dirty work. While other companies hired mercenaries, pirates, and
thugs, the Wings preferred to do everything on their own, and did a damn good
job while they were at it. Always daring to go further, the definition of the word
"fear" was all but forgotten. Unfortunately, as the Icarus' of the Exploration Age,
the Wings flew too high. On their last known expedition to the Outer Ring, it
was said that the Wings came across a strange artifact that unleashed an
ancient curse, immediately ending the Wings' career in the Age of Explorers.
As a wave of magic silently and invisibly washed over the surface of Titan, the
Age of Explorers saw its cancer. Kaijuu, monsters of unfathomable strength,
power, and intelligence came crawling out from the depths of Titan. These
soulless monsters made expeditions nearly impossible, dropping success rates
dramatically. Those who dared to venture forth were considered suicidal or clinically
insane. Almost overnight, companies all over recalled their expedition teams, with
only the most elite of explorers ignoring the warnings. But all was not lost.
As of late, rumors have been spreading all across the Ring. Nobody knows
how it started, and everyone has their own version of the story, but one theme
seems to be common among them all: the Wings are back along with the dead
dreams and ambitions of explorers all over. This is our Golden Age. This is the Age of Discovery.
It's a new day, a new time, and a new age. And like all new things there are things that will change. It is the nature of humanity to do so or they would not have survived. The current changes that seem to stand out for humanity is the newly founded global social hierarchy system (GSHS) and the newly constructed international education system (IES). No longer is the division between nationalities, races, or religions seemingly important [though they're still very big problems]. It is the segregation of social classes that stands out amongst everything. You've probably heard the quote "the rich get richer while the poor get poorer". Well this new social class system seems to make that quote reality. The newly constructed hierarchy is the division of nine economic classes. The top two are considered the High Class, the next two being the Middle Class, the remainder being the Low Class. The divide between the classes is so deep that it is impossible for one person of low class to work their way to be a higher class. However there is a "battleground" where people can change their supposed "fate". This place of battle is called...School.
The idea of the international education system was to give tomorrow's children the chance to fight for their fate and to pick out the prodigies of the future. Each educational facility, from elementary to graduate, is annually ranked on their ability to produce high class citizens. Sciences, Literature, Mathematics, Arts, Sports, etc. Most subjects and extracurricular activities are considered when undergoing the annual ranking assessment. Each educational facility will then separate students into classes depending on intellect, potential, and skill. This distinguishes the elite out of each educational facility. One being the highest and every number ascending from there is considered "lesser" to class one. Everything changes from there on in the schools. The higher class you're in, the more power and privileges available to you. You're respected, revered, feared, and maybe even the focus point of jealousy from everyone.
The system has been running for several decades now and there are several generations that have graduated from such an abomination. With every generation the percentage of suicide and poverty climbs but so has the personal bank accounts of the higher classes: the only ones who seem to prosper from such systems. See the truth was GSHS and IES were just systems that allowed certain people to limit where the wealth and power went to. With this nobody could arise against them and ruin their comfortable lives of running the world. This of course isn't the only problem at hand. In fact many new problems have arisen to add up to the old problems that still plague humanity. The world has then become grey and cold masked by the bright lights and colors. Nothing is no longer as it seems. However there seems to be something stirring within the greyness.
A terrible shadow has begun to cast over the grey world. A shadow that will consume all and bring devastation to everything we have and love. But this is not the only thing that is awakening within the greyness. A spark has ignited deep in the fog. A flame so bright and hot that it will burn away all the darkness and greyness alike. A flame that seems to lie at the very beginning of our problems.

Space has often been declared the final frontier for humanity. In comics, television, movies, and even in real life. You see we, as a race, have only achieved so much on Earth.
These achievements will mean almost nothing once we get to the next level. The outside space that exists outside of our safe walls. Yet we still want to go outside and explore
the unknown. We are that type of being. Driven by the thirst for knowledge and adventure to break down the walls that keep us safe in our home. We as humans want more.
We want to initiate the second Space Age.
However this tale I have to tell is a little bit different. Earth had prematurely gained technology that could allow them to go out deep into space. In the year 2000, on New Year's
to be exact, there was a bright comet that pierced through the midnight sky. It crashed onto the isolated tropical island of Balbadas. A group of scientists left to Balbadas expecting
the remnants of a meteor for them to study but what they actually discovered was a incredible foreign object. A space vessel [Dubbed the Ark]. The brave scientists decided to enter
the treasure trove and found everything seemed to be intact. They at first couldn't seem to find any signs of intelligent being manning the ship but then they found what laid in
the back. A full working lab with what seemed to be unidentifiable beings in large tanks. They were not conscious but upon trying to examine any further a mono-tone kind of rigid
voice seemed to ring through the lab. "You who have seen what cannot be unseen, do you believe in what has not been seen?"
The scientists fled after hearing the voice and retreated to report to higher ups. The circle that knew of the space ship's existence was very small. The circle mostly held of elite
minds in engineering/science, world leaders, and a few CEOs of large business tycoons. They came to a conclusion that petty differences would have to be put aside in order for the
human race to reap the gifts that was just thrown onto their lap. Within the next decade, the dream of world unification was no longer a dream and instead became a pseudo-reality.
Banding all their resources under the table to investigate the vessel, the world government excused their financial focuses on space with a supposed discovery of unique space
materials that would allow for efficient and quick travelling of space. The public backed the world government whole heartedly as they were fed pieces of what the future would be like.
Thus everything went smoothly. The explorers of tomorrow were being trained while the process of constructing space vessels similar to the Ark was in progress.
What humanity didn't seem to realize was the potential danger of carrying the Ark. The Ark was in fact a treasure trove for the entire universe [perhaps for different reasons]. All in all,
humanity was not the only one that knew the ship existed. An intergalactic empire known as the Xenos Empire, was in fact hunting down the Ark for the research and technology it held.
It was in fact the reason why the Ark was unmanned and had crash landed on Earth in the first place. But now deep within the looms of black space, the Xenos Empire have found the
Ark and are about to dive in for a surprise attack. They don't care about Earth and it's primitive ways. All they want is the Ark and they don't mind destroying the planet just to get it.
Another entity humanity hasn't noticed either seems to have started stirring. A strangely decorated stone tablet in the Ark's lab has begun to resonate in odd neon light. Could something else be afoot?

After the shut down of the once hugely anticipated MMORPG "Rings of Titan" a product of Studio Genesis
and creation of Junpei Kintaro and Hyuuga Ginzan, a sudden announcement was posted up on
Junpei Kintaro's development blog [which was set up to update the public on "Rings of Titan"
progress] by a stranger calling themselves Majin of the Seven Lands. The announcement
revealed "Rings of Titan" had more in store for future updates and that everything was just a
process rather than releasing everything right at the get go. However with the shut down and the
disappearance of Junpei, the game and it's plans were forgotten. Well that was until Majin got a
hold of them. Majin has decided to initiate the game's next phase...
The following morning, the public awoke to what they believe was a dream. Strange beasts and
beings appeared next door and outside the cities. People who once played "Rings of Titan"
found they were able to become their characters from the game. It seems the entire world
somehow has evolved into some sort of game system. The world has started to become chaotic
with this sudden change. If things are not settled soon enough, there will be little of a world left to
live on. So will you band together with others to fight for order and the ideal reality?
Or will you promote chaos and create a corrupt hierarchy?
