If only I'd known about Sparknotes back then...

slader.com is saving my senior year. (;
all the kids in my grade cheat so hard, I have to google all my homework just to keep up with things. Grr.

I know, right? Its a wonder your teacher never notices.

I'm friends with all the popular-smart kids, and their techniques are ridiculous.

Today in AP Bio, I got to see my lab partner writing his English vocabulary terms on the inside of his fingers for a test. Sigh..

Great Expectations by Charles Dickens and The Great Gatsby by Scott Fitzgerald. Those books are classics I guess, but Overall I just hate reading :I

Hilarious Regular

I forget allot of the books I had to read in school....(Which is bad since I just graduated last year.....) but for the most part I liked all the books I had to read....I kinda got tired of Romeo and Juliet though...probably because I had to read it 2 times... (I failed English 1 so I had to retake it Sophomore year) I was really lazy freshman and sophomore year so I didn't do much schoolwork. Sadly. :// (Note to kids; Don't F* around in school!!!)

Beloved Nerd

The Great Gatsby. It was just horrible.
A Tale of Two Cities was the only one that I really loathed. I saw at least some merit in all of the others that I've had to read, but this one's acclaim was just a real headscratcher for me. confused

Some short stories are really good. The Rock Pile (I think that's what it's called) was my favorite. And anything by Poe.

What short stories have you read?

I was a big fan of most of the stuff we read but I'd say that anything by Jane Austen just lost me within the first couple pages. I just don't get along with her writing style...that and Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. And The Great Gatsby (I forgot the author) those 2 also killed me trying to read them.
