Least favorite book you had to read it school?

i remember during my (i think) jr., we had to read "To Kill a Mocking Bird" which of course is obviously banned by now in most schools i'm sure… sweatdrop oh yea, then da other one we read after dat was "Of Mice and Men"

I actually liked all of my high school reading except for one terrible book. The Great Gatsby. I haven't had any literature classes in college yet.

Probably Of mice and men, or Scarlet letter (both 9th grade). Of mice and men was too much like The Pearl which I had read the year before and didn't really like.
The Scarlet letter my mom had told me the ending so I wasn't shocked or surprised or wondering about who the dad was so it was a boring book for me. Not to mention there was way too much description, there was a whole page describing how a flower on someone's door looked.
