It's been a while since I've actually done anything with my account. Had it for about 11 years and when I was into it "hardcore" Tektek was huge, what the heck is invo search???? I keep seeing people talk about it but I have no clue what it is and where to find it.

I'm not sure what you mean, but you can search your own inventory now in the search bar at the top.

You can add items to your avatar through the inventory search and be able to place multiple items on that you do not own with it. When you are done making an avatar, you can also save it in your dressingroom, copy the image link to the save avatar, and post it via the add image button. It's a lot more accurate than tektek due to tektek messing up layering more than half the time.
