STRUCTURE
This contest will be an elimination
inspired contest. However, no one will actually be getting eliminated at any point in time . This contest gives everyone an equal oppertunity to win, and 5 chances in 5 different catagories to win a spot in the artwork.
Each round the two contestants with the top scores from our judges will be granted a spot in the contest. The remaining contestants will start fresh in a new round with the same oppertunities, only now they will be challenged more in themed contest rounds.
candycrack
Everyone realizes while the theme name is the person their is a specific look to go for. The descriptions are important and people have been cloning joeys style and not her theme, and we do not wish to see anyone hurt in the contest by a small overlook. Figured I would point all this out before things got more confusing.
Torrie = Skimpy
Joey = Raver
Valgav = Warrior
CC = Powerclash
You guys should not be making avatars like said person and intimidating their style... You should still be using your own style to make outfits that fit the theme for the person. (My category is the only one undefined seeing as how I don't really have a style or theme for myself like the others.)
Please read the decriptions of each section, as a new section starts more info will be posted on it.
ROUND ONE
THEME: Anything goes.
The first round is a straight up good old fashioned avatar contest.
ROUND TWO
THEME: UnderworldTorrent
UT has shown us many great skimpy sexual avatars. Here is your time to show off some skin and show us just how sexy you are. Pull out those panties, and skip on the overall coverage.
ROUND THREE
THEME: LittleRaverJoey
Joey is the original of Raver of the AT. Pack up your glowsticks, grab your water bottle, lay on the kandy jewelery and make us want to go to a rave. That's right guys, time to crank up the trance and be the best raver you can be. This Page in the thread holds some helpful resorces and examples for everyone. Please check these out for insperation and ideas, both cc and joey posted some helpfull stuff.
ROUND FOUR
THEME: Valgav
Valgav has done many great themed av's most of those have been warrior influenced. Now is the time to battle it out and claim a spot before you head off to the final round. Shine up your blades, polish off your armor and be the best warrior you can be.
ROUND FIVE
THEME: CandyCrack
The final round should rightfully go to Valgav since this is his place. However, my personal styling proves to be the most difficult to master and makes for the biggest challenge. I am not known for any set them, nor am I known for any one style. Val told me I was known for my overall well rounded style, but that makes for a boring challenge. However most of my avatars are inspired by the wonderful ancient(?) art of POWERCLASH. That's right guys the final round is powerclash, and will determine the fate of who the last two spots go for. Pull out your quirky colorful clothing, watch an old episode of rainbow brite, and put together the best powerclash avatar you can. THE POWERCLASH REVOLUTION, check it out for details. (If more info is wanted on powerclash at the time of this round Ill will provide you all with it.)
**SIDE NOTE: AVATAR SUBMITED IN THE CONTEST WILL NOT BE WHAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR IN THE PICTURE. This is because obviously not everyone typically sports looks from these themes. We want people to be recognizeable in the group picture.
