The bottom half looks so stiff in comparison to the top half, though the combination results in making it seem as though your avvie was "caught in the act"... kudos for that
To me, it seems as though there's something missing... makes me wonder what this avatar was caught in the act of doing.. so maybe add ionno... something which explains what your avatar might have been doing or a background to explain the startled expression.

In color or texture.
I'm not a fan on the hair either.
It's such a big block of one color,
while everything else is rather detailed.
