Welcome to my Octrollber celebration! For the entire month of October, I am going to be wearing the troll skin from Changeling to appear like a troll. Since this month also has my favorite holiday AND is the month that my baby is due, I decided to have a nice little celebration full of fun and prizes! Come on in and enjoy the fun!

There will be avatar contests, rates, and a raffle!

General Thread Rules

1. Follow Gaia ToS, AT Forum Guidelines, and all common courtesies.
2. I have the final say in everything. Period.
3. Please don't ask for a rate for an avatar more than once.

Avatar Contest Rules

1. You may submit one avatar per category.
2. Post all submissions here in the thread, clearly labeled as to which category you're entering.
3. Gaia avatars and/or Tektek is allowed.
4. Inventory Search is cool and so is Dream Free.
5. You do not have to resize your avatars, but I will not accept "current" entries.
6. Please host your own avatars.
7. Winners will be decided as close to October 31 as possible, but not before.

These are subject to how well I feel on a given day... Unfortunately, being only three weeks away from expected delivery, I am prone to moodiness, exhaustion, and a multitude of ailments including headaches, panic attacks, and overall grumpiness. So I will try my best to get to all your rates, but know that I may be a bit slow at it.

I've come up with six themes for avatar contests. See the rules above for more information on how to enter.

01. Trolling
Use the following "troll" bases in either male or female. You may use any pose of the ears/tail so long as it matches the skin.

Prize: Your choice of a set of Troll Ears and Tail - Cave, Forest, Frost, Hill, Night, Sea, or Storm.

02. Witching Hour
Create a witch (or wizard)! They can be as cliche or creative as you want, so long as we can tell that it's definitely a witch/wizard.
Prize: The series of witch hats from Cross Stitch.

03. Trick or Treat
Show someone out trying to get candy from perfect strangers in the popular Halloween tradition. You MUST have one of the treat pails: Coco Kitty, Ghosty, Goblin, Gwee, Jack O'Lantern, Kiki Kitty, Skull, Spider, Cauldron, or Pumpkin.
Prize: Giant Rainbow Lollipop.

04. Halloweenies
Rock the black and orange color scheme! You may use white or green as accent colors, but the vast majority of the avatar must be black and orange.
Prize: Spooky Pumpkin Poncho.

05. Monsters Inc
Make the scariest monster you can. Bear in mind: gory does not equate to scary.
Prize: an assortment of horns.

06. It's a Girl!
As you may or may not know, we're having a baby girl. So I want to see your most sickeningly girly avatars! Think pink and fluffy and ruffled.
Prize: Pink Belled Ribbons.

This is just a fun little raffle to see who can correctly guess what day little Lorelei will arrive! Here are the rules.

1. You may purchase up to five date slots.
2. Each individual slot costs 200 gold or five slots for 900 gold.
3. To purchase your slots, quote me here in the thread with which five dates you want then immediately send a trade.
4. Any number of people may put their name on a single date slot, but the prize will be divided equally amongst you.
5. The prize is the entirety of the gold collected from the slot sales; this will be no less than 5000 gold.
