I need some help coming up with a good look

[Obligatory Japanese Name]

I thought my avatar looked okay, but someone else didn't think so. I'm hoping I can get some pointers to give my avatar a good look that works. I see so many users that have incredible fashion sense like Gurowaii and VVednesdays, and it leave me feeling a bit inadequate redface

Here's pretty much the base of my avatar, the eyes were a substitution for Secret Retreat Possessed Eyes and I think these look better. I'm open to new ideas.

I'm sorta messing around with these two looks. I scrapped the Infernal Spirit horns for Demon Manifest because the Demon Manifest does not clash with head accessories. I like the Fall of the Evening Star ( Crossblade ) and would probably like to have it on my avatar, but I left it out to avoid cluttering the look for now. I might quest for one of those Hood items to use it's katana instead, because that katana looks cool as hell.
