I really like your use of the background from Peaceful Water Nixie as well as your avatar's overall theme.
The eyes and eyebrows are adorable choices, but...

...the lack of a mouth makes the avi's face look really plain. Perhaps find an item that has a frown or pout mouth pose? I know that a few exist but I can't recall what they're called. :c
Another (rather minor) personal nitpick is that one of the shades of green used in the animated falling leaves item looks a little out of place.
