It's a given of course that you'll know that someone's dead
if you killed them or were with them when they died.
And dead bodies will be left around for a time to be discovered.
But other than that, there's no requirement that deaths be known.
So far, it seems like it's something people would be interested in, though.

I dunno . . . I think it'd be fun not to know who's still in the running or not, you know . . . ? It'd make it more mysterious, I guess.

But, I'm apparently outnumbered in thinking that. lol

It would also be more realistic to the situation to not know unless you killed the person or came across their body. But that might make for a longer game since people might play more conservatively.

I'd come up with a realistic way of conveying it. Some kind of note from Mr. Cromwell or something.
He's watching of course, so he'll know where to leave the note.
And he'll also come up with ways to make things more interesting
if people play too conservatively for too long.
For now, he'll let everyone get used to living on an island.
