Oh goodness. I actually love the idea for the round, I actually almost wish this was done a little later in the competition when it could have been done in groups of 2 though. 4 people is really hard to coordinate xD


*Also after having gone through some websites to learn more about italian art I am a bit confused how to embody this in 1 tektek. Italy have about 7 different types of art styles that quite honestly have nothing to do with each other. Are we supposed to just pick one to embody and tell the judges what we went with?

THE NEW ROUND IS POSTED GUYS!
You'll probably need an extended deadline, as it may take a few days just to get your head around how the judging will go. My friend gave me the idea (from a contest in which they participated) and it took me a while to get it.

Hopefully you will all love this round, as you all seem to get along really well. I hope you all have fun, I just wish I could join in : )

so we have to make a "super tekek" with our teammates and an own one?
and we talk to each other with the super tektek by ourselves... seems challenging... rofl

Yeah, that's basically it. You each make one representing the art of your group, that cannot contain any items used in your super-tektek (group-tektek).

I hope you thought about the groupings and our strengths & weaknesses; which hopefully, will compensate for each others strengths & weaknesses.

I did try to put some of the stronger tektekers with some of the weaker ones, so that the teams are as balanced as possible.

As long as it's connected to italian art, you can do whatever you like. You can do a famous italian painting, famous artist, embody a whole art movement, or connect everything that is italian art in one tektek. I decided on this challenge because it evokes (in my opinion) a helluva lot of creativity.

Actually, yours is pretty free & has a wider range of topics, because Italian art really kinduf dominated most of the European & American art.

I learned a lot about the three great artists, and I think they were all Italian? o- e;;
(Leonardo da Vinci, Michael Angelo & Raphael). o:
I need to research on Chinese artists. gonk

Yeah I generally love italian art because their influence can be found almost anywhere.

I am so beyond concerned about coordinating with 3 other people xD It's hard to work with everyones styles and time constraints
