Daria Cosplay

Does anyone remember this MTV cartoon? I thought it was pretty funny and noticed there were similar items on gaia that would go well with a cosplay, so I decided to do one of Daria myself. How do you think I did? Would you have used something different? What would your Daria character cosplays look like (using tektek)? What cartoons (besides anime) have you or would you cosplay on gaia? Ratings are appreciated!

I'm thinking the goth skirt would look better... Te original one, not the new starter ones...

Thanks karura! If they had her hair, I totally would cosplay Lane.

I don't think the goth skirt would work as well, because Daria's black skirt was pleated and this was as close as I could find.

True... I had forgot about the pleated-ness of it... Just change to theese glasses instead? I think they capture her eyes and glasses more...

Yeah, I was just thinking that skirt looked a bit too froofy for Daria XD something simple and plane as possible would be best I think, but you're off to a great start smile Need a friend to dress as Jane, come to think of it! X3

The starter skirts would've been perfect if they only came in black. I fooled around and came up with a Jane cosplay:



xd If only the angelic collar layered better! Next closest thing was the black tank top with highlight, but it was gold instead of white.

Definitely a good cosplay.. but I'd encourage the black tundra boots. Since hers were like.. massive. Either those or the patchwork boots you get from collecting old boots (garbage).
