Backwards Avatars. (I'll be back! I have a meeting.)

So, I seem to be finding myself doing more and more of them as of late.

So AT, how do you feel about backwards avatars? Like doing them? Like them, but can't make them well? Also a question towards some of the regulars, are there any AT'ers that specialize in backwards avatars? (Can't think of anyone off the top of my head. Or rather I know I'm forgetting names.)

Also, I'll do rates, if you ask nicely. ;D Just suggestions, maybe a -/10 if a defined number comes to mind.

so fluid and pretty looking! I love backwards
avatars because it gives you a challenge in
organizing the items/finding the right balance
of the avatar. I don't make them though, mostly
because they are trainwrecks lol. :B

I doubt they're as bad as train wrecks judging by you're current. (Mm. Dat texture.) But, who knows, you might come up with one someday. biggrin

That's the problem! Im too attached to texture so backwards
avatars usually are harder to achieve a textured look :c

I made a backwards rainbow avi blob once, wasn't too thrilled with the process and lack of detail vs a traditional avi.

I will say that there are a LOT of hidden poses though, so that's a fun bonus.

I'd like to know what you think of my avi, trying to get a general consensus.

Sher!ock used to make a ton of backwards avatars.
Whenever I make blob avatars, they tend to be backwards. However, I rarely make just normal backwards avatars {i.e., non-blob ones}.

I remember there used to be a time whenever a standard rule for rating avatar was: Must be facing forward and standing. xP

avatars usually are harder to achieve a textured look :c

Fair, I can see the the process being not as exciting.

I think I like the idea of the avatar, and the color matching must have been a b***h, But The only thing I think I would complain about is those teensy-weensy bits of copper-ish orange on the feet, buut as far as I can tell the color is probably a part of the boot and there isn't much you can do about that. :/

It takes a definite artistic eye to make a backwards avatar; that, or a really powerful style eye, where you know how to use regular items backwards to look just as stylish from the front as it does on the back. Yours is very artistic, all the swirls and pretty colors coming together. And all the close shades mesh well into one another, instead of just sitting on top.

If you rate me, just know I wanted to build up height somewhere that I don't normally do so (The shoulders in this case) and it just kind of... died from there XD
