I like the concept of mentoring for avatars!

We have had a few threads like this, and they have all failed. That may be the reason why.

I've mostly been too busy with school stuff lately to spend a lot of time on Gaia.

Though I'd be lying if I said the slowness of AT didn't also have a small part to do with it. sweatdrop

The new WoW expansion has also eaten up a lot of my free time lately as well.
But now that my main characters are max level again, I'll probably be on Gaia a bit more now. emotion_c8

So at what point do you stop accepting mentors? I feel like if you don't, you might end up letting anyone in, and no one is gonna want to be a student.

Maybe you could also have theme weeks. Like one week have an emphasis on matching, so like anyone who wanted to learn the finer points of that style should participate that given week.

i wish there were a way to put quotes side by side, though, it will probably get a little long

for now thugh, each mentor will only have one student, so the amount of mentors available will decrease, hopefully quickly

yeah, i see where you're coming from, this is one of the things we talked about before setting the thread up
if a mentor hasn't been picked, they can still participate in the thread, every week there will be a discussion of the entries, and both chosen and unchosen mentors will have a say in who is most improved and who is best overall (anyone can talk about the entries, too, but only mentors would have a say in the evaluation process)
there will also be some weeks where there is an open discussion on a particular style, which just anyone can participate in
