Question! Multiple pose items

How do you wear two things from a multi pose item?

For example I have seen avi's wearing the hat and dress from the cherry blossom monthly collectible but my avi can only equip one or the other.

In order to equip more than one pose of a multi-pose item, you need to have more than one of that item. Take for example, the fire flower on my avatar, if I wanted to use the flower and cape poses together, I'd need a second to use for the second pose.
