I just bought the strength rod, along with some bait but now it won't show up when I try to go fishing. I don't remember if I had to equip it to my avatar when I bought the distance one, but I can't seem to find any place that I could. Help would be very much appreciated.

There's some glitches with fishing right now, everyone's expierencing them. Just be lucky you can actually get into fishing, most people are denied access and are told they don't even have a rod in there inventory when they most obviously do.
