This is hard. Skilled firebenders are obviously capable of killing dragons, seeing how they were almost driven to extinction by the Fire Nation. And before facing Aang, Ozai was a skilled firebender, and could generate powerful lightning.

My vote still goes for the dragon roasting and eating Ozai.

Nah, I kind of assume that dragons are fireproof, being the first firebenders and all.

Then how were they hunted to near extinction by firebenders? And why would it make a person's firebending 'legendary' if they didn't use firebending to kill them?
