I've seen him twice. One in the trailer, and on the back of a paper in the second(?) episode when Korra is reading about the pro bending.

Does anyone have any information on him?

He's probably a pro-bender from a team that's used to winning(he seemed kind of cocky in the clip I saw), so I'm guessing he'll be a sort of rival or something. We'll have to wait for new episodes to find out.
