what type of bending would you choose?

well that was shown in the original series with Katara the old women and the old man from the swamp, just bending the water in the plants.

Earthbending. You can chuck rocks at people. ******** awesome.

But I admit I don't have the rough-and-tough attitude to be good at earthbending.

I'm too timid to be a firebender. I would just never bend because I'd be afraid of the fire.

I don't really understand the difference in attitude between waterbending and airbending. Korra and Toph have such similar personalities. It seems to me like Korra should be best at earthbending.

I would love to be a water bender. Katara was always one of my favorite characters and having the ability to heal would be really cool.

I think my personality is closest to airbending, and I love how the airbending world has so many connections to Eastern philosophy. Like how the current Dalai Lama's name is Tenzin Gyatso wink

If bending were based on personality, Firebending would be the type for me.

But based on personal preferences I would love to either be an Airbender or an Icebender {sub-category of Waterbending},
as those would be very suited to my taste in fighting and the such.

Considering one of my friends always calls me "Zuko," I guess by default I'd have to be fire.

I think it fits.
