Welcome to Gaia! ::

What the ********? neutral If we going by American terms she would be considered black. Why are people scared of that? Someone went as far as saying that black people can't be eskimos.
Hm.. I always thought she'd be considered Native American or Native Alaskan. Not that it matters either way to me, she's still awesome no matter what. :3

She's totally eskimo/inuit/native north american in appearance. She doesn't even look black.

I didn't didn't know Eskimos were considered back. Doesn't matter either way I just thought they were their own minority.

Agreed, but I couldn't believe what I was seeing. People get so defensive about it.

I thought they looked like really tan Asians. Kind of like Indians before you know we killed most of them.

Korra I think we can safely assume isn't Indian. And by American standards she would be black based on looks.

Eh I don't know. I don;t think they'd give them a different little check box on most government forms if they weren't a different minority. I think it's kind of like lumping in Hispanics with black.

There have been quite a few negative comments about Korra...
I don't know why race or gender is a big deal to some people. Some say that the Avatar shouldn't be a girl, because they're chauvinistic, or some say that being a tomboy is a bad thing.
Then you have the troll that we know as Taylor hating on Korra's culture... whether she was being serious or not about that comment is a different story. However, it's still offensive.
Well look at Katara when she was younger,and look at her now.
