Hi there!

My name is astrenose and I'm a reporter for My Gaia Magazine!
I'd like to write about one of the hottest topics this month, Legend of Korra.
Are there any opinions you'd like to share about the show?
Leave a reply and you could see it in our next issue!

Thanks.

Wait... really? That's cool.

The Legend of Korra is a very good show, in my opinion. The plot is great and the animations are beautiful! The only things I don't like about the show is that there was too much unnecessary romance. The creators decided to throw in a bunch of romance instead of focusing on a good story, which kind of ruined it. Oh, and the fact that everything was solved in the last three minutes of the show.

...But otherwise, not bad.

When I saw the first Legend of Korra I hated it. I thought it was pretty dumb and that season lasted to shortly.... Avatar the Last Airbender was A LOT better. it took them more then 1 season to complete their main conflict..

This is awesome! A Korra-related topic in a magazine... Sweetness!
Well, the one comment I have on the show is that it includes so many elements of its predecessor and expands upon them.
It shows Bloodbending with Yakone, the Mob Boss of Republic City's Bloodbending gang, being turned up to a whole new level that I can imagine even its creator, Hama of the original {Book 3: Fire}, would never have thought. And without the use of a full moon, which was initially the only time Bloodbending could be used.
It's a bittersweet taste to see the characters we knew to be youthful children all grown up, some dead and some aged, but they and they children mentor the new heroes of the Avatar world.
And all throughout the first season the main villain figure was Amon, a man who thought to "equalize" Benders by taking away their Bending ability and putting them on the same level as Nonbenders, who were thought to be completely oppressed by Benders, a concept never majorly explored in the original show.

The Forum would of been better if we would've seen the next season of LOK. emo

But overall, I really like the show. 8 )
