YES! That was probably it!!
I love them together, I thought that they would forever be good together, I always knew that sooner or later that the writers would throw them together BUT I also thought that whilst I love them together as they are entertaining to watch I also thought that the relationship between the two was just...wrong.
I mean, I get he wanted to probably marry her before they died and after everything that happened it was all probably 'why wait, we nearly died, lets live together forever from here on out!' But at the same time I felt like it just didn't go, like we should have left them with the engagement, we knew they liked each other (well, more or less just in this book the the others, they made her remain a slave to him to be more to her) so they would of we sooner or later and we would probably get a comic saying that they now had gotten married two years later and now have a daughter or something but the fact it all seemed rushed and forced it made it feel wrong, like they shouldn't of done the wedding, they engagement would of been plenty to give the fans what they wanted.
