Avatar: The Legend of Korra [Spoilers maybe?]

Hey everyone! So, with the first two episodes of The Legend of Korra being released yesterday and it having been 4 years since the first avatar defeated the fire lord, I decided to check out The Legend of Korra and boy was I impressed. (Four years being when the last episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender, anyways).
Everything I saw was amazing!
Has anyone else seen it yet? What did you think? :3

Yep, I watched it. I was sooo excited and was happy that the show met my expectations. Really loved the pro bending tournament! can't wait for more episeodes

The whole pro bending thing was so awesome! I didn't know what to expect from that at first, but the end result was great.
I really hope that in a later episode they show the Pro Bending tournament. 3nodding

Watched the first 2 episodes with my wife earlier. We both loved the first series. I'll admit I wasn't sure if this one would be able to meet the standards the first one set. I was pleasantly surprised. The first 2 episodes were AMAZING. I will admit that I'd like to know what happened in between to lead up to all of this but still.I can't wait for more episodes, I'm curious to see how this story plays out.

I will admit that I'd like to know what happened in between to lead up to all of this but still.I can't wait for more episodes, I'm curious to see how this story plays out.

I found myself wondering about what happened during those 70 years too.. I'm hoping what ends up happening is they either talk about some of it and have flashbacks in the series, or the creators make some sort of tie in novel/article that we can read to piece things together. That main city is so impressive, and for the whole thing to be built and functioning as well as it was (granted things were messed up) is quite impressive, and I wouldn't mind seeing the city when it was older too. Plus, WHERE'S APPA? There was that other Bison, but no Appa. D:

I really loved Tenzin's daughters. I'm hoping for at least an episode that has to do with them. heart The brothers were really cool too xD
I wondered who that was screaming in the audience ;P

Loooved the new eps!
Especially how the old characters were incorporated into the story, like Katara being a water-bending master and having aged visibly, then Toph's daughter Chief Lin Beifong. While some of them may have not been physically present it was still nice to have the sense that they wren't forgotten.

Also polar bear-dogs are a lovely addition to the series heart

Definitely! I heard Toph is supposed to be in an episode, so I'm excited for that. :3

I really hope that they bring Sokka's children to the show, and seeing old Katara with her son made me hope they would do some flashbacks of Aang and Katara when their kids were still kids themselves. I can totally see something very good happening with Korra and Mako...hehe heart

Weren't they cute? I loved it when Tenzin was like, "Promise me you won't be like this in your teenage years!" And Jinora answers with a serious look, "I will make no such promises" rofl

Omfggggg this is amazing! I just finished watching the second episode and I was saying:

"O" Ooooh he Likes her...

/then it showed Korra/

xD Lol, I am curious though.
I understand most people were paired off.. but who did Toph get with to have a daughter?!!?
I haven't watch The Last Airbender in forever.. since the last episode came out so I'm kinda rusty on the facts of who was with who Dx

Liking it so far, though the love triangle stuff isn't doing it for me. Part of me wish that they introduce another girl in the main cast to balance things out.

That would be pretty cool, I was sad when Katara said most of her friends had died. D: (Sokka, Zuko maybe, Suki..)
Flashbacks would be good though. I definitely like flashbacks.

I can see Jinora being one of my favorite characters throughout the series, especially because of that line. XD heart

Yeah. I'm confused about Toph settling down with someone too. Especially since there wasn't any hinting toward it in The Last Airbender.
Unless she hooked up with Sokka O.o

So you noticed that too? I was telling myself that there wouldn't be any sort of love triangle.. trying to stay oblivious I guess. I definitely don't want to see a love triangle become a regular thing. :x
