And yet I still won with grell 8D
the problem is, that MOST of the people in the arena just copy one another, try to do a cosplay cheaply, or dont try to look too hard for unused items. I mean, when I try and do a character thats been overused, I always 100% about most of the overused items. I also dont "cheap out" on them either, like with real life, I spend bitchloads to make my cosplays perfect and try to use innovative ideas and concepts, match tones and textures, etc. Sadly most people, including some who have won in the past, dont try very hard to do as good of a cosplay as they can.

I agree with you guys 100 percent. And this is why I like Original Avis better than Cosplays. But that's just my opinion.

Naruto junk, Cloud Strife, Sephiroth, Pretty much any other FF7 character, Pokemon junk, vocaloid junk, Black Butler junk.

Just all kinds of weeaboo eyecandy.

I don't mind the over done cosplays, if one is done well or a scene is done where you can actually feel the moment that's happening. Someone did Winry from FMA Brotherhood where she was about to shoot Scar, it was nicely done and it captured the moment really well.

But of the over done cosplays are cheap and horrible.
