People who use blatently obvious cosplay items to cosplay the blatently obvious will just come off as uncreative and boring. |

Indeed, I mean Cosplays pretty much take over the arena anyway after a new item comes out whats not new.

Smurfs, bobs, nightcrawlers all repeat cosplays are gonna come up next week i not gonna enjoy that.

which is just another reason i avoid doing cosplays. (besides the fact i am not good at them).
i get too much enjoyment out of creating the wierd and original. i do get depressed every time we have a shop update for this very reason tho. if one person sees dr. suess, you can bet fifty will. another fifty will be working to get the red dye and horns for hellboy. then there will be the cinderellas, too, because of the book. if gaia tailor makes something for a specific cosplay, then you know the arena will be flooded with them. that is probably why a labyrinth cosplay of jareth hasn't won. |

The real sad thing is when overdone cosplay end up in the top ten like Sailor Moon and Link.
