Male avatars in the arena

I only saw one male avatar for the original avatar arena for Top10 in the past month. Why do people hate male avatars so much? Glad I don't have to change mine if I ever want to invest in a win rolleyes

Female avatars make up a majority of the site, thus they are the majority in the arena and so more likely to place in the Top10.

Some people find the female avatar more flexible. As male avatars still lack much of the divers clothing of female avatars. Though when it comes to the Cosplay arena, it is about even, depending on the character. Even then females are still quite popular.

That's honestly something I've never understood. I'm female IRL but I've always vastly preferred the male base. I really dislike the hands and feet on the females.

it's not so much hate for male avatars as those were decent avatars to some people -

or that some of the winners were CBers who used clout to win.

It's probably just because there are vastly more male avatars than female avatars submitted. I'm a girl but I prefer the male base by far, I think it would be nice to see more serious male base entries.

I just think not a lot of male avatars enter. For every page there is like 3 male entries.
You get the occasionally no-gender type, as in a concept or abstract.

It's hard to find decent male based avatars in the original arena. There's always one or two that are fantastic compared to the other fifty bad ones.

I never really noticed, I entered the arena a few times several years ago, but didn't get many votes. even then it seemed like it was mostly females that won.

If someone could actually make a decent male avatar, then it wouldn't be so bad. But every week I only see 2-3 good male avatars and that's on a good week. I don't know what's going on that people can't make a decent male avatar. :/ But there are a few decent ones that I'm hoping will place this week.

I've seen plenty of good ones, it might just be typical perspectives of favoring female appearances, either that, or a really good explanation for not seeing any good male avatars would be that there aren't as many masculine items as feminine ones. But, again, I think there's too many voters that automatically dismiss, or don't take seriously, what male avatars are able to do with what they are provided with. Plus, I am quite sick of seeing princesses and fairies clogging up the top 10, it's getting old.
