Week after week, I see how you critique and I must say, it gets worse and worse. Not only does your "feedback" imply your lack of fashion and style on some of them, but just cause its not up to "your standards" doesn't give you the right to play god on what falls under "win or lose." Sure its your thread, but just bashing winners cause you can't win, makes me think you started to critique the winners only cause you can't win anymore. I suggest you start to give them some credit for making the top 10 or stop critiquing further.

Jesus Christ, here we go again. Listen [ Larceny ], and Mystical Alien. I've been down this road far too many times to blow minutes making the same defense for myself. Frequent, smart visitors know what my thread is all about. It is not be taken seriously. Sometimes I wonder why people even sit back and waste their lives analyzing critique threads or throw assumptions left and right about the people who create them. You guys seem to have a head on your shoulders. Please use it to go to the first post and read the rules. Your personal problems with my thread have nothing to do with the winners directly. Change the subject or be blacklisted. Thanks.

Not to be taken seriously huh? then I believe this thread should be in the chatterbox then. That's so lame, blacklisting us for posting our opinions? The heck we have the right to place what we have to say like when you do your nasty critiques. And we are trolls for posting our opinions? wow. I never have any problems with your thread. I just have problems with the way you criticize, its getting too far. I suggest you follow larceny's suggestion. |

But... that's just what it is.. it's a critique, it's Pikachew's opinion on the avatar not yours, or mine, or Lanzers, but Pikachews. He never says if they 'win or lose' (I mean we all know they won rolleyes ). He says that he does/doesn't think that they should have placed, and why he thinks so. Mystical Alien I can't stand the fact that this person even use "hippie faced" as a comparison. It's racist and these people around me calling me a troll can't even see that. It's a state of mind, hun. Not something you're born with. ((I do have to add though to the BAWWW'ing fellow from earlier, if you think about it, taking into consideration the multiple times people have used Pikachew's pokemon avatars and entered them into the arena, they have won not once, but twice in a row. And possibly more than that since I don't know how many people have used Pika's ideas and won before that time.)) Anyway, back on topic, this week was....ehh. I don't even like seeing who won anymore. I read these reviews because it's funny and most of the time it's exactly how I feel. It feels like people aren't trying anymore because they know if you have enough people downvoting, enough guildmembers voting you up and then depending on the 'idiot vote' ((OMG ITZ AULL BLCK & WHITE DATZ SOOOO KEWL!!!1!!eleven!! DATZ SO MUcH GULD ITEMZ WIL U DON8 4 mE?!??? I GIVD U 5!)) they can win anyway. I used to really love checking the winners each week in the old arena and admire the creativity of people. Now I go there and it just feels depressing. Thanks for the reviews, Pika. They're the ray of light that makes me still enjoy the arena to at least a slight degree now. |

Sinivar Mystical Alien I can't stand the fact that this person even use "hippie faced" as a comparison. It's racist and these people around me calling me a troll can't even see that. Hippies as a race +1 resistance to poison and acid property damage (tolerance is built by constant exposure) -2 int (all those drugs can't be good for one's brain) +3 negotiation (Hippies are, by nature, very zen) -1 hiding/disguise identity/impersonate (what's that funny smell? and why am I hungry?) Okay, in all seriousness though, I tend to find these reviews rather funny, I personally disagree on some points, but I can see how she can feel that way about any particular submission. (Most of the time I disagree with her more positive critiques) I don't see how someone can submit something, and expect not to get any negative feedback. Submitting ANYTHING to ANYWHERE gives others the right to state their opinions of it, and any GOOD critic tries their best to make their opinions sound refreshing and entertaining, which she succeeds at. It's not like anyone is being told to accept her opinions as the one-and-only end-all truth to the worth of the entries. Don't like it? Go read another critique thread. It's not that hard. |
