I agree with most of your critiques for origional... I just felt that a lot of the ones that one this week were either boring (cosplay) or I wanted to rage at Gaia for not making the perfect item for that avi... But still, those that deserved to win did a great job.

You're right. It was just first and second place over all. For me, if those two were out and we had some better avis to take their place, 9th would have done the worst. But It did a s**t load better than first and second, in my eyes.

Yeah, I agree with the ratings. I'm not the best avatar maker, as you can probably see, but even I can tell that the first and second place avatars in the Original Arena are quite lackluster, and I'll try to say that lightly.
The Mysterious Cat entry was by far my favorite this week, though. It was quite splendid, and I think it deserved higher than it got.

Thank you so much for the critique! I love how you actually got what I was driving at.

See, that was my first gore attempt for a game and movie I've NEVER played or watched. I had to look up a Silent Hill Wiki just to figure out what the hell I was going to do. In the process I ended up reading the stories of the 9 or so games and figured I'd make a collage, or better yet, an assemblage of it. So yeah, that's what I was going for.

The brown was awkward and I felt your score was a bit generous (I hate gore. I found the avi to be grotesque). Just for whomever reads this in the future, the door was inspired by youtube footage of the game.

I did WAY too much research to make my entry, haha!
