Ponies are a bit difficult to pull off lol. And I agree, the links must STOP!
As well as the sailor moon, bleach, and other stuff that everyone does.

I did a pretty good dj-pon3 but some other entry had the same score as me but won last place stressed they are pretty easy really. Just some items might be hard to get. Avatars I don't like to see are just pretty much overused stuff.

You know it wouldn't be so bad if people would do a scene from a game or the series. I mean yeah there are a ton of Links, Eds, etc in the arena. But people have so much they can work with and do something original.

Every Link, Zelda and Human Amaterasu in the arenas.
There's plenty of other characters in the Legend of Zelda series, why can't you just cosplay as those instead?
I've only seen one Human Amaterasu cosplay which actually impressed me, but that was weeks ago and after it won, the person who entered it deleted it.

I can't believe I'm saying this given that I cosplay it on occasion but Little Sisters from Bioshock that have clearly not paid attention to what they're doing.

As I've done the cosplay myself I can vouch for the fact that it's not as easy to do as it seems at first but pay a little attention. stressed

I do not want to see Little Sisters with brown hair (They're black), normal eyes (They glow!), carrying a plushie (They only ever carry a Delta doll and that's in the second game), or normal coloured skin (They're green, Andrew Ryan tells you that in the first game).

I'll say my top 5 and why are


1. Single item/"I AM" poses only.
I don't know what compels people to think that a single item on their avi will win. It's usually accompanied by a begging description. Yes I think the Grunny is a cute but scary, but that's an outfit anyone with the item can do.
2. Overly Cluttered avis.
Slapping on many items to make yourself look "impressive" doesn't really result well. I get it, you got lots of items, so do I and a lot of other people. But, there's a difference between messy clutter and controlled/coordinated cluttered avis.
3. Noobish starting avis (the ones with only freebie and/or cheap, under 10k gold shop items).
I hate to shut down noobs but I have no clue why they try. Hoping for pity perhaps? Pretty sure these people are trolls. It is possible to make a decent avi, But most winning avis need a few gold shop items to make themselves look good. It's not 2005 anymore.
4. Set Avis (Avi made entirely of the multiple same items.)
Ah this one is somewhat common but come on, it's another similar to the Noobish avis but now you're using much more expensive items. Let's see some creativity people!
5. Cosplays done to the ground (like the common Naruto, Goku, and Mario).
This is a special case because, there are some good ones like someone did a Sage Mode Naruto or the Nine-Tails mode Naruto, but doing a basic Naruto is pretty lame already and highly overdone.

Uhh. Yeah, time for me to say my opinion. xD

For one, I hate people who make themselves look "cool". Like, having a sword in one hand, and a sword in the other, and have some steel armor all over themselves. Because I don't think this is an RPG game. razz

I like simple avi's. Like mine for example. I am looking after making myself into this one
