Hallo again Lanzer, tis me once more I’m afraid xD.

I was just wondering how much longer non-Photobucket images are going to be posted as links? I seem to remember the announcement saying that it was for just that one weekend and I've noticed that non-Photobucket images switch between images and links a fair bit

A lot of us have adoptable pets here on Gaia, like the Feedable/Breedable Pets, or dragons from the Dragon Cave. The Dragon Cave adoptables NEED to be seen as images, since they need Views as well as clicks in order to hatch and become adults. With the Image Ban in place, those of us with the Dragon Cave adoptables are having a hard time keeping our eggs and hatchlings alive. There is a petition to add the Cave's images to the list of safe and supported images, but if the ban doesn't end soon a lot of people are gonna lose their dragons.

We really need the ban to end.

1). People like me with periods in their usernames still can't speak on many towns-related games and features. I understand the decimal point causes havok in coding, and it's hard to write around it, but is there hope for us? It seemed the main reason for changing the username rules was for a potential feature where Gaia became an email service as well as PMs, but its been years since that idea. What's going on guys, and will I ever be able to speak in towns again in the future? Will I be able to speak in the battle system? sweatdrop

2). If you wore the spartan clothes, would you become a Spartan Lanzer? And would I be able to use you as a weapon in Halo 3 to blow up cars n'stuff?

I'm pushing for more weapons first, but otherwise for fantasy items, it would be best to rally up more support through petitions. :O

I was wondering if there are any plans to add some new forums or subforums in the future? I think that that was mentioned at some point after the Fashion and Foods forums were released. I've heard that paranormal and pets subforums are in demand. Are there any forums you'd like to see added specifically?

Hi Lanzer!
I was wondering, I thought it would be really cool if NPCs kept journals again.
I've heard a lot of people mention it, and I'd enjoy it.
It's also less time consuming than Manga updates. Would you please consider that as a way to offer sort of supplementary plot updates?

Also, I was wondering if it would be possible to add an NPC roster to the Newsroom, just for easy reference.

Finally, there are two NPCs (Male and Female) with Nonsense names. What are they for?

That's very true, and I have considered using Photobucket more, but things like randosigs get a bit screwed up with the non-Photoshop image ban gonk

Today I only had a hand full. The most I've gotten was closer to 800 during an event. :O The only thing I can do is to read as much as I can before my mailbox overflow.

My parents knows that I'm working on a "website" but the only website that they know about are shopping sites and blogs. smile They just know that I'm having fun and they're happy for me.

An RSS update system for subscribed journals will be made in the near future, I too want a good way for checking on friend's journals.

Forum enhancements should have that feature in mind, and we're working on it next.

Lastly, yes there will be the ability to report different types of problems. We're working towards it.

That is a petition, started by members of the ED's Morality and Religion forum. The problem we have here is that the Battle MMO uses the word "gypsy" in describing a new NPC by the name of Nicolae. From Europe, there is an ethnic minorty of people who are basically systematically discriminated against in many parts of Eastern Europe, known as the Roma. Their derogatory name is Gypies. We have Roma on Gaia, the author of the petition is Roma. While America doesn't have many people of the Roma minority here (indeed they are a true minority), Gaia also has a significant userbase in Europe.

I guess my point is: why would Gaia violate a certain part of their ToS, which states you cannot post any words or statements that could potentially offend someone, indirectly with a description of an NPC?

I know I'm not Lanzer..but...seriously?
I didn't know the word had offensive connotations, but obviously that was not their intent, nor is the word solely or even principally an ethnic slur. It has other meanings, in this case it is clearly a reference to the fact that Nicolae is a free-spirited nomad who travels from place to place.

EVERYTHING is potentially offensive to someone.
