Hello everyone!

It's been a quiet week here as we gear up for Halloween and continue focus on other features such as BidBlast, Alchemy, Housing, zOMG, and the mobile widget.

Got to sat behind the TV and watch the Emmy awards yesterday, surprised how many shows I have never seen (or heard of smile Do Gaians here have any favorite TV series?

Posting some of the same questions because I wasn't answered last week,
then added a few other questions I'd like answered. neutral

1. When should we expect this year's "Spring Cleaning" "event"?
The cookies announcement said that we'd get an update within a week, but that was at least a month ago.
Also, can we please get some kind of announcement released when these odd mystery items get released?
The Q&A gets tired of having 25 topics asking the same question when things just appear in people's inventories. confused
{Cookies, alchemy keys, etc.}

2. I brought up the idea of new tattoos a couple months ago.
Can we expect a new tattoo shop update?
It would be interesting to have rainbow tats and crazy new designs!

3. Were the "design a new item" contests discontinued
due to the Coca Cola item contest incident?
We'd really like to be able to create new items.

4. Why don't we get MC clues anymore?

5. Y U NO MAKE HARMony LEVEL 1 ALCHEMY ITEM?

I CAN NOT GET TO LEVEL 10!
But seriously, it does seem a bit ridiculous. emo
Sorry, but as long as alchemy remains an elitist tool, I'll only use it to craft event items.

6. What exactly happened to Booty Grab that it suddenly granted a shitload of gold to people who played?
Were you guys goofing around with some coding and it went bad?

1: During last week's ATA, you explained that the original concept of how people were transported to Gaia was “that people on earth tried to create a time portal and instead delivered themselves and a large chunk of earth to another world.” Has this concept been changed over the years, or remained set in stone? This seems like something of great importance, so will it ever be explained in the plot? I'm sure many plot junkies, such as myself wonder of our origins on Gaia.

2: Would it be possible for Gaia's talented, darling writers to do weekly written status reports and NPC interviews that are consistently done like the EI reports, so that we can know more about the Gaia world and its people, places, and races? If done right, I think this might open up new possibilities for plot junkies, roleplayers, as well as older characters making a comeback, like Prakash Singh, Flynn, and news reporter Cindy, as well as new characters like Diedrich and Tia (from the Valefor Academy Rig) having definite roles where they could actually be of use.

3: Are there Mogas on Gaia, or does Monster Galaxy take place in a completely different world/ dimension other than Gaia? If it's the latter, then how did a starseed slip into Gaia's world, allowing Ian to capture Rufus, and how did Nova get here to announce Moga spawnings on Gaia?

4: Does Meili like his tummy rubbed when he's in tiger form? Does he like raspberries?

1. Considering that we no longer need a "ticket" to enter the Buccaneer Boardwalk in zOMG, what's going to happen to the users who did purchase one? Is anything planned in the near future for the tickets themselves? ninja

2. As long as we're on the subject of zOMG, we've already had an official statement from swarf about how ring farming was a violation of the TOS. Following up on a previously unanswered question from last week, when can we expect a similar announcement to be made as to the "legitimacy" of "Endless Papa Saw" instance runs? ninja

EDIT #2: In case you're wondering, an "Endless Run" is where/when the crew agrees to use a Rage Rank 4 "Scaredy Cat" against the big boss Papa Saw himself, in order to keep him at bay while the crew farms the constantly-respawning Buzz Saws and/or Ripper Saws.

3. Have you or any of the other staff ever considered the possibility of allowing users to have achievement "titles"underneath their names, similar to the "Admin"/"Developer"/"Artist"/etc. titles? ninja

As far as the Emmys are concerned, I'm surprised that "The Good Wife" took home something. That show didn't really work for me.

Mainly, my one sole question is when the GAIA Convention Tour for 2012 will release the schedule for the tour stops.

I know I asked about this last week but I was wondering when we'd be seeing more of the low level Alchemy ingredients implemented? Things like Spring Breeze and Sea Water which are required for level 1 and 2 items.

I've been watching Doctor Who and totally skipped the Emmys XD

You should be able to vote tonight actually.

Yes tattoo's haven't been updated for a while, I'll deliver the word. I haven't heard of any tattoo updates that are in the works currently.

No it was put off but we do want to revive the event. Just a matter of taking the time when we're too focused on other features.

I think that most Gaian's focus had been moved to other items from EI to CI, so we spread our attention and messages more broadly.

Well we do side on the higher level items at the start so we don't have a feature that will run dry in a month. Though in the future I'm sure we'll introduce items for both advanced and new users.

The gold granting system is rather complicated and we did screw up on some of the formulas. Takes a while to keep tweaking and making it work right to avoid over-inflating the market.

1.) Will there be any new SDPlus Real (i.e. Gaia Staff) dolls included in next month's RIG (as Valefor Academy and Neverland didn't contain any)? Would you ever consider holding a contest that would allow an ordinary user to be made into one?
