Hello everyone!

Hope you all had a good Labor Day weekend. We've finally started on planning for the Halloween event and I'd say we have some pretty cool ideas going. We also made various adjustments in item alchemy, but it's still work in progress. Meanwhile, the new housing system is looking better and better. The new version will look and feel pretty close to the old housing system, as new features will be created and appear once the new system is released.

In the Neverland rig there was a noticeable flaw that I feel I have to point out. In the story's text someone put that Gaia was a “mainland”, when Wendy was taken from Durem into Dref Dur, and she was thinking about going back to Gaia, when she was telling her story to the lost boys. But during the Zurg arc of the manga, it clearly states that Gaia's a planet. Is there actually a continent named 'Gaia,” on Gaia? Or is Gaia just a planet and nothing more?

How did humans get from Earth onto Gaia? And why did we/ they come to Gaia? Was Earth in peril so we had to be relocated to Gaia? Why are we here and how did we get here?

Were Orcs, elves, imps, and other fantasy creatures the original inhabitants of Gaia, before human settlers came over from earth?

Do you have a favorite fictional race on Gaia? Glompies? Centuars?Merfolk?

edit: whoo! Halloween! I'm excited. Can't wait to see what you guys have in store. Will the Bogey Man be in it? I mean, you guys already created a character for him and all....

I'm pretty stoked Housing's finally being worked on. Those devs who are working on it deserve cookies.

It's distressing to a lot of people to have items that they spent days/weeks/months/etc. questing for, only to be unable to use them with their dream avatars because a few simple glitches prevent the end result from looking like it's supposed to.

Since Alchemy is still so new, the brand-new component items like Shark's Blood and Stardust are still quite rare, and thus quite expensive. Those who wish to get good deals on these items without waiting several months would be well-advised to watch the Marketplace like a hawk.

However, these components are classified as Game Items. And so, an old gripe of mine about the Marketplace's function rises again to the forefront of my mind...you can't put Game Items on your Wish List. The first five items on your Wish List show up on the Marketplace home page with handy links to the items' listings, so being able to put alchemical components on there would be useful in the days ahead.

Might the ability to put game items on wish lists be something we can vote for in the coming Spring Summer Fall Cleaning?

Hi Lanzer! Two weeks ago, I told you about an issue with back wings: that most layer BEHIND hair, making all wings look rather poor with long hairstyles, and many of the smaller ones are almost or entirely invisible! You said...

I just talked to a number of artist and we'll look into the issue you've mentioned. I can't promise anything yet, but do check in with us and I'll give you an update.

So, I'm checking up! Can we pretty please have all of the back wings layer in front of hair?

1) zOMG has a new sound effect - when you go to the screen to choose a server, it sounds like you are hearing a heart attack. Is this an experiment, or are we stuck with it?

Are the zOMG glitches going to be repaired before DMS is introduced?


2) Lag/Clearing cache.
Resort World and Backyard Monsters overload users, many more are experiencing lag-related glitches.

Will Gaia support Opera in future? With netbooks and mobile devices on the rise, this would seem like the forward-looking choice. (It would also reduce lag for those of us with older machines.)

It's possible to turn off the cash tree in the header, can you install a toggle for the cute gifs that appear by the avi to advertase different promotions? For those of us with severe lag, it would make a huge difference in our access to the site.

I noticed in the Glacemella alchemy formula there's an item requirement called "Minthamella". Is Minthamella going to be a mint recolor of an older EI (Biancamella)???

Also there is this item on the MP for housing called Framed Gaia Artwork #07 that was never released with the Puzzle game...is it possible to get this item out somehow with the new housing update? That would be awesome.

A few questions:

--Do you plan on releasing any more formulas that are going to require items that were crafted from recipes that were part of a non-repeatable quest reward? Ex. the Gnome Figure and the Lumberjack Axe

--I noticed that the Facebook version of Resort World got an update (looks like they have to collect rubies to buy those new water slides). Will our RW get that any time soon?

--I found this picture of what looks like a Threadkiller achievement in an Achievement guide. Do you ever plan on implementing it?

My question is about the components for Alchemy, there are a lot of missing components for even formulas that are levels 1 and 2, is this intentional? And when will we be seeing more components show up for the Alchemy hungry masses?

Anyway, my questions this week are simple:

1) There's rumor you're working on a homes update. Can you give us any information on what you're improving with it?

2) Unseen Wizzard is an awesome item! Will we be getting any other discworld themed items soon? And who's the artist? You know the new book Snuff is coming out soon.

3) Will we ever have normal EIs again instead of just REIs?

AFAIK, that's a glitch where the low on HP or Stamina sounds play for no reason °3°
