I've been around the forums a lot and over the past year I've heard rumors of people getting their accounts banned for violating gaia's T.O.S. regarding sexual content when they didn't do anything like that. I've reread the terms of service and well, they aren't really clear as to what's crossing the line to begin with. Is it possible that gaia can ban someone's account who's an innocent?

We review all bans before they are placed on an account, especially bans for sexually explicit content. The majority of bans we place are legitimate but that does not mean mistakes can't happen. I would urge anyone who feels they were unfairly banned to file a ticket to appeal it.

My question is How could someone get 'banned' for being so called 'rude' to their FRIENDS in rally? It doesn't make sense.

Depends on the "rudeness", what was said, and if they have a pattern of abusive behavior. Gaia's Terms of Service applies everywhere on site, including Flash Spaces. This is how one could get banned for being "rude" in Rally, though I suspect the comment was either a repeat offense or something much more offensive than minor rudeness biggrin
