Could you give us an idea of when player bonuses will be lowered in Bootygrab?

To Pan: Some issues we'd like addressed (Glitches) Update!


Six glitches were addressed in this thread, and four remain a problem (reported 6/6-6/20):

The 0/0 gold game (2-item glitch), 'playing another game' (after a game won't save), fish going past the boundaries of the tank (with their gold), and 'clenching' (the fake full game).

One new glitch was reported - the number of fish in the tank is more accurate in Absol's notices than in Gaia's.

Hey Lanzer! How was last week? Hectic I would guess!

Anyway, my questions are simple this week.

1) There has been some speculation as to adding rules to the heaven forum, as a group of users there has made their own specific set of rules for the forum. What is your take on this?

2) What is the Secret Store Discount in Barton Boutique that Rufus used to mention? Was it ever real? I spent a lot of time as a newbie trying to find it--I had thought that maybe if I clicked on a specific pixel I'd find it, like that Money Tree website.

3) What do you think of a time travel CI? Like, for instance... 'Brenniven was reading an old book of spells, and when he read one aloud he disappeared into time! It's up to you to help Kanako travel throughout time with the help of G-Corp's technology to find him! One item opens one portal, so you might need a bunch to find the right time! Be careful not to change history!' You could have fail screens that read, 'Uh-Oh, you accidentally killed your grandfather! Now you don't exist!' or, 'You stepped on a butterfly, thus making moths evolve to be the dominate species on earth!' Really I just want Roman items, specifically a Toga Virilis and a Roman square shield, you should make them fail items. But you could make some really neat historical items to compliment the ones we already have.

How's the new arena update coming along?
Any update coming for the world section yet, it really outdated and boring? Is the world map still on hold?
How's the homepage stuff coming along?

The mysterious hand in "the fall" manga, is this person going to be reveal soon or is it non-important?

Oh, the Timmy EI is doing horrible. The one pose at a time isn't doing much good.The past generations are not even

evolving either,can we get a full evolution. How close is Timmy from finale?

I wish to address the use of the word Gypsy in an item name, Madame Gypsy, on Gaia.

Previously, it was made known that G~ is in fact a slur against Roma. Why has it been used again? EDIT: Can it be edited to some of the suggestions I give in the link in my sig to avoid offense and going against Gaia's ToS?

Here's a question for you, Lanzer. Why are our undergarments glued onto our avatars? Take a look at this:



It looks ridiculous. The undies, I mean. Not the feline. The feline is wonderful and I thank reapersun for finishing the magnificent Catastrophe.

To create this feline, I used the snow leopard skin from the Uncanny Form MC. I can't use a feline skin to make self cat avatar. Why?

It appears that the skins in many, many items are stuck with the default undies, whether they're from MCs, EIs, or event items (even the Zurg alien bodies have stuck-on undies). Now, I could shuffle around and find items that remove the bra, but I don't want a cat wearing a shirt. I just want a cat.

I really don't understand why Gaia insists on sticking undies on us. It can't be a legal issue, as there are other avatar sites that let people run nakey and children as young as 0 can play with naked barbie dolls.

I made a thread about in SF, which was largely met with approval. To the argument that this could lead to cybering or encourage it in Towns/Rally . . . Gaia already has items that allow people to create these types of avatars:

Good evening Lanzer. Just a couple questions to throw your way:

1)This is an idea that has been rolling around in my head for quite some time. What would you say to letting us have fireside chat type things with the artists, along similar lines that the devs do and this weekly AtA? I realize they're very busy so it certainly would not work on a weekly basis, but every now and then would still be quite awesome. Just to keep us in the loop, let us know whats going on and maybe give us little hints from their meetings.

2)Backwings. No, seriously please hear me out. I saw a thread in the GCD earlier where another user (unfortunately I've not gotten permission to link and I don't want to namedrop) had edited the Imp head-wings of Gimpi to be on the back and it resulted in exactly what we have always been asking for, fits in the box and everything. I'm not saying I want them for free, but what we want doesn't even require new pixelling. So why not just do that and release them in the cash shop for 10 bucks or something? The money for the Gimpi has already been spent and remade long ago, so it would be just about all profit on Gaia's end. I hope it can at least be considered.

And to any dev/admin who can answer: Any chance of coming back to Houston for a meetup?
