Hello everyone!

It's the last few days of the event, hope you all had got a chance to get the prizes you want. We've made the chances of getting the rare Diedrich easier, so hopefully that'll help those who are close to getting your goods.

We also have some of the promised alchemy changes coming this week. Hope that'll make your lives easier, but remember it's all work in progress and we'll actively monitor and make adjustments to improve the feature.

Hi everyone,

A few news and notes before we get going:

-First, it was Lanzer's birthday yesterday, so wish him a good one! Or send him hate mail, whichever you prefer smile

-A number of you have mentioned concerns around the voting system on the forums - specifically, how you can downvote a thread, and whether that's being used correctly or as a trolling mechanism. Darknrgy explained some of the background of the system in last week's ATA (if you want to go through his post history), but in a nutshell, we've long felt that only having an upvote option doesn't help either because then threads can quickly become a popularity contest rather than being actually of high quality, which doesn't make the system any more useful than the current version.

However, we are working on a better way to rank content on the site so that good stuff is easier to find, which would be applicable in a bunch of different areas, including as a potential improvement to the voting system. I don't really have any details to share, but know that we are doing some exploration of improvements.

-Other stuff we're working on that you should see sooner rather than later (hopefully): the Alchemy tweaks to introduce an element of choice, CrossStitch updates, and if you're really good, maybe even some plot!

As usual, we'll try to answer as many questions as possible in the hour to hour and a half we have, but please don't take it personally if we don't get to yours. There are a lot more of you than us smile

What's the word on finding somebody to fix the glitches in zOMG!?

Hey all! I am all brain-dead from going to the dentist today. emotion_zombie

Is there any way that the help center can get updated or something?
I ask because it is a nuisance to many users who're technologically impaired.
I'm more specifically trying to bring notice to how half the time, it is difficult to navigate to the page to create a ticket.
Half the time it works, half the time, it requires a user to clear their cache to even locate the ticket page.
Just trying to bring attention to it, but if nothing can really be done, eh... *shrugs*

Oh, any more hints as to what the *new* sponsorship is that is coming?
Will it be a sponsorship like the Walking Dead and Adventure Time ones (having a CI and sooo much other stuff)?

One last thing... not sure if I'll even get an answer, but I'll ask anyways...
Are the CI mascots/pets manually "activated" into dropping on a certain day, or are CI items 100% randomly generated with the drop rates pre-programed?

2: Is Gambino was brought back time and time again, can Meili get a turn to come back, if he really, really, REALLY is dead? I'd think the son of THE GODDESS, Gaia deserves a free Phoenix Feather, since he's way more important than Johnny Gambino – a greedy; self-serving, egotistical, god-complex, deadbeat dad of a human ever was.

3: Does Meili have any siblings, or is he an only child?

The current set up of the Help Center is a bit funky, admittedly, due to how we have to set it up in order to get all your user information included when you file a ticket. However, there are three ways to combat the ticket creation.

1. If you're prompted with your My Tickets page, you can do a search for "Contact Us" and get the link to the ticket creation page.

2. You can clear your cookies (or if you have Firefox, delete the cookie for http://www.gaiaonlinehelp.com).

3. You can use this link here.
