Hello everyone!

Sorry for being away last week, I flew back to Canada to spend time with family for a one week late Chinese new year celebration.

We started working on improving the Alchemy system last week, and although the changes are small, it's the beginning of many incremental steps to come. We're monitoring progress as we move on and will make more adjustments or simply introduce new items or formulas later.

There are also free fishes to collect for spicing up your aquarium. Hope many of you like keeping an aquarium.

1: In a past ATA, I addressed you with my concern of many missing SDPlus dolls a while ago, most of them of characters who never got made into their own doll; to which you replied: “We haven't been making as many SDPlus dolls as we should, but we'll definitely be making more for the recent characters, and there probably won't be much dolls made for the old characters unfortunately.” Why is this? There's no reason that I can see why older characters shouldn't have their own dolls, especially when Ian and those old NPC's have a lot more than just one doll in their likeness. Please, please encourage whatever artist is doing the SDPlus dolls every CI to go through this list and make the dolls of older characters we don't have in SDP form

2: Here's another follow-up question that I couldn't squeeze in last week, for you, Lanzer. You might remember that I expressed a bit of frustration and disappointment over the fact that you were showcasing vampires and zombies in nearly every event, for years; giving them full or just partial spotlight, like how you drag Louie or Ian into most events, and throw some new form of zombie into the mix. Now, you replied with “The repeated themes just speaks to certain themes' popularity.” I don't buy that. I'm willing to bet that if your staff threw up a poll and a forum topic for users to comment on what they wanted in Site Feedback- more zombies and vampire events, or an event with races that never got as much spotlight, or completely new races and fictional, mythological creatures, the answer would leave zombies and vampires in the dust. You have so many creatures and races on gaia, I don't see why you don't give them more attention in events, instead of sticking to tiresome undead types all the time. It's gotten old.
These races are just a fraction of what you can play with and bring into events: Arachnids, Doptera, Dwarves, Fishmen, Dragons, Angels, Goti, Cyclops, Nymphs,Demons, angel imps, devil imps, Orcs, centaur, Vylons, Zurg, Nartians, and Flower Imps, Sirens,Unicorns, Druids, Yokai, or Sno Yetis.

3: Instead of Cash shop artists working on cash shop items, gold shop items, site art, event art, ect. , would it be at all possible to keep Cash shop artists doing their thing with making art and pixels for the cash shop and every other area of the site, but have a small team of Gold shop ONLY artists, to work on NPC art and gold store only items, so the gold shops can get more frequent updates with items, to at least rival the frequency of the cash shop updates?

4: Since we discovered, around the time that the Zurg appeared in the manga, that Gaia was registered as a planet, by their spacecrafts, does it (Gaia) have any moons that orbit it? If so, are any of them inhabitable? In the Roses of Mare Frigoris Gown's item description, it mentions that the same roses on the item were rare specimens that only grow on the surface of the moon (which I assume is called Mare Frigoris, or simply is the name of the plains the rare roses grow on, on that moon). However, we don't know if this moon is Gaia's moon or not. Can we get to see more references and story into this moon where rare roses grow, in future item descriptions, and hopefully get to to see if it is, in fact, Gaia's moon, or if it's inhabitable by people?

- Glad to see that the alchemy team has made some changes to the feature. What other changes can we expect?

- When will the glitches in zOMG! be taken care of? Ex. = The silent NPC quest chain glitch, the lag in the game and the visual orb count glitch that has been happening since the release of DMS.

- When I try to equip the first pose (the one with the large stand-up camera) in the modern movie makers, it un-equips my wings. Can this be fixed?

Questions!

1. I heard that Town 2.0 is currently being worked on (as in, not currently in the brainstorming stage). Any idea how long it'll be before Gaia start updating it into the website?

2. Regular EIs has been few and far inbetween these days. Will there be an increase in them this year (at least big enough for people to notice it)?

3. Bringing this up again since it's been a long time since I asked... SDplus Blindbox. Why can't we buy it directly from cash shop? We have so many dolls in existence, it's not even funny on how rare it is to win it from Chance Items / Rigs.

4. Any major plan on redesigning site layout, landing pages, navigation header, etc?

1. I was wondering if there was any insight on the [Lite] fish drops. We know that they're alchemy related, but do they directly drop components like Sea Water, Wriggling Tentacles, etc, or do they grant giftboxes, caches, etc?

2. What ever happened to Spring Cleaning ideas? Are there intentions on reviving the forum, or announcing results?

Was wonderin' if you guys are still planing on doing anything with the achievements we have gotten. Also maybe we could get achievements from the games here.

For example puzzles. We could get achievements for playing so many games.
Take fishin', maybe if we fill so many buckets, or catch a certain amount of fish. It might get more people to play some of those games.


The Case of Pietro hasen't evolved in a long long time. Any chance of it gettin' an update soon?

Yay, it's good to see you back again Lanzer. I have a couple of questions here that I hope you can answer or at least give some insight into.

1. The Spring Cleaning forums for 2011 have been around for nearly eight months and I wonder if anything has come from it yet. People are still making threads as though it's still relevant to do so. Will anything be done with those forums anytime soon?

2. I've had a bit of a proposal out there in the SF off and on since last April for a recolor of the G LOL mistress set to white. I've been toying with the idea of making a petition for this as well and try to keep it alive for the remainder of the year in order to try and get that recolor made and out there in the gold shops before the end of the year, possibly in another Garage Sale update. Do you think if I showed more support for the idea in the form of a petition over the rest of this year I might have a chance of realizing my dream of having a white G LOL mistress skirt from Gaia? You've already realized a part of my dream of having a white Elegant corset and G LOL mistress skirt combo with the white Elegant set about three years back.

I'd like to say thanks, for the aquarium freebies too! Even though I don't use it myself, it's still a nice gesture for those who are less unfortunate, and are interested in just decorating their tanks.
