Happy Chinese New Year! When the clock struck 12 last night fireworks went off everywhere and my cat jumped to the cat tree to seek refuge. smile

Hope everyone like the recent gold store update. We've been putting time in planning for the new Towns update as we work on bug fixes around the site. We'll also be focusing on the alchemy issues this week.

Last week I've asked a number of you about the idea of having free fishes in aquarium, and the response is positive so later on this week we'll also have some free fishes to be given away. Hope to see some nice aquariums in the near future.

1: Have you found out anything about the location of the observatory the star siblings are staying in, yet? You said you'd let me know when you found out....

2: In a past ATA, I asked you (Lanzer) “Can you dish the dirt on the Ringmaster's invisibility? Is he invisible by choice, and can control whether he's visible or invisible at will? Or did he have an unfortunate run-in with a whole lotta invisible ink at some point in his life?” Your answer to said question was: “Ringmaster's ability is a secret to all, and will be revealed later.” To that, I ask- how much later? How long do we have to wait for Ringmaster's creator to drop by and give us the scoop on the guy's invisibility origin?

3: Quoting you again on a past ATA. You mentioned that “I do want more future events to involve world map updates or activities.” This statement followed after something else you said: “We'll see what happens after housing update”. So now that we got not one but two housing updates, back in december; one in the cash shop, and one in the Faktori, has the staff been planning anything for events to involve the world map, and making it mre interesting than just clicking around to find Holiday NPC's on the map pages? Is the world map going to get more love in the form of updates, soon?

I just wanted to say thank you to those who have been looking into alchemy and trying to remedy a number of the issues us users have been encountering with the system. <3

My big question for this week, and one I know is plaguing a lot of users is do you intent backwings to be an item the average Gaia can earn if they put the time and effort into alchemy, or do you truly only expect them to be an item for high tier players that have 100mil up to chuck into the alchemy machine? I believe a lot of us were under the impression backwings would be something any Gaian could go for, with a bit of work, but your post a couple of weeks ago about them having to be purposely rare and expensive so they can be coveted has left many of us in confusion.

Another little question I have is I heard rumors that more poses may be added to some of the single pose alchemy items. Is there any truth to these rumblings?

About alchemy. Coveted =/= Super Rare. For years, a lot of users have been waiting for the release of backwings. And for years, we were told that everybody would have a chance at getting these wings through some kind of quest. A quest that was hard, but still able to be done by the dedicated.

However, as it is now, it's damn near impossible to get these wings without having extreme luck and real life money to burn. Why should only a small percent of the userbase be able to level up through alchemy? I find this to be totally unfair. All this alchemy feature has done is piss people off and cause elitism among some users. Please, fix alchemy.

Another problem that I have is with the snowblind pose on the daughter of snows. The pose looks horrible on avatars with dark skin. Can this be fixed?

Soon ...probably not, I do want to try to get some of the World maps updated through events but until we can better tie events with a cohesive story there really isn't a whole lot we can do with it for events.

From what I know, there's an observatory near Aekea, perhaps we'll be able to find it in the world map some day.

It's still a secret as far as I know.

For now, instead of specifically Gaia World we're focusing on Gaia Towns, which should have a lasting effect on how we update the Gaia World. It'll have big influence on how we update the Gaia World later.

I asked the item creators if they could make sure those two bloody items are marketplace-able. It should be done soon!

Hi guys, I have only one question for you tonight and that is about you're recent cash shop cleaning spree. When I found out that you'd throw out the Christmas and undersea housing items I found my self very displeased, why not just put them in The Fatori like all the other housing items? You could keep the GC price tag on them just don't throw them to be nonexistent. You guys have already done this with sams body and parts why not do it with the new housing item? I would hate to see these well made items cost to much where no one would be able to afford them.
