The effort is to change the platform over from what we have today to what we have for zOMG. After putting more effort in zOMG we'll be making the switch over. It's been a headache and almost to the point where we want to shut down Towns temporarily.

Mainly speaking, the script-kiddies have been running rampant for the past couple of months.

Probably no, we all like the idea of a really, really cool item but at the same time we don't want Gaians mistaken us for trying to drain everyone's wallets.

GCD and SF naturally, though C&T is another one I like.

I hardly have time to shop and find cool clothes, so I don't get a chance to dress nice. I also believe that at least one of the admins should have a consistent look to be recognizable.

That changes all the time, for now it's still the frog.

Yes, I've gotten many offers to beta test zOMG before it was released. :O

hahah, i haven't put any bunnii easter eggs in aquarium. but i'm surprised i haven't seen anyone try to make out what the candy corn fish are saying via morse code :3 kirby scripted some phrases into them razz

wedding plans are still moving along. it's not very fun for me IMHO since there's too many things to remember to do!

Maybe you should shut towns down Lanzer, that's a very good idea.

With the change of the size of our development team, so far the conclusion is that we need to do less with less people, but do them fast so that we can move on to the next project faster. We used to plan to focus on things for new users and existing users at the same time, but now we're leaning on fixing the problems we have for new users first, then move on to working on forum and guild enhancements. More on that in my journal.

When you announced the Gaia HQ layoffs last month, you said that you would need some time to think about restructuring Gaia's priorities going into 2009. Can you offer any comments about what's been decided? Things we're going to see less of? More of?

I have tried looking up in various forums, but I don't see anyone with information about it. Is it a glitch that is being worked on? Or is it a sort of update, working on wishlists?

Hey -- I just looked at your profile wishlist. Is the issue you are talking about that the status of all the items is listed at the bottom? It looks like that might be an issue only on older profiles (we upgraded the whole profile system a while back). I didn't know about that issue until now, so I don't think anyone has been working on it. Its probably a ways off given all the other things we are working on, although I can put it in the list for when we next update profiles/wishlist.

thank you! it was a personal project kirby and i worked on a few years ago for ourselves. something like imood but in flash so we could add more fun things biggrin
