Well, I'm a firm believer in Wacom brand, though I've never tried any of the others, but they've always worked well for me. The fancier tablet line is the Intuos, and tbh, I don't like them too much... Too big and clunky for my tastes, even in a small, and pricey... I have this guy (Graphire4)
in a small, works great for me. And since I work on my laptop and take it around, it's nice since it's easy to transport. 83 Wacom's replacement model for the Graphire was the Bamboo, and I have no idea what they're like but... that should be good enough if you don't want anything too fancy. surprised

A friend of mine recently got an intuos and she says it's really nice. She also does graphic design for a living, so she would probably make better use of it than I would.

The bamboo is pretty easy to find it seems compared to other tablets. I could just go to any number of electronics stores and get a bamboo, but anything else it seems I would have to order online, not that such a thing is really a problem considering my entire computer is made of parts that were ordered online. But there's a few models of bamboo as well, apparently, so I also need to look into what the difference of each of them are.
