I like my conductor to be someone who's friendly and very enthusiastic about music, believing in the beauty of music, appreciate the band players, encouraging/inspiring the band players etc. So far most of the conductors I met have been near the opposite- only one I like is your middle school conductor (tho it may be that I've only known her so little).
