Pre-calc is for gifted students? o.O lol I think we will have to take pre-calc in 11th grade here before we move on to calc...I'm so confused now >< So many different systems eek

Do you guys do IB here as well?

lol For me, some of the classes involve students from all grades in the high school. For eg, in my Malay and music class, it's composed of a mish-mash of students from 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade. Though music class have only 6 freshman, and I was one of them xD I'm the only girl from freshman class there .___. so scary....

Yeah. For Gifted Level, you have Gifted Alg1 in Grade 9, then Gifted Geo, then Pre-Calc, then Trig.
IB?
Same here. Most of us were seniors and juniors though, with a few sophmore and freshman. What's Malay though?

IB is International Baccalaureate (can't really spell it sweatdrop ) Is it only for international school students only maybe?

Malay's the official language at Malaysia. We need to know that or else we can't order food at a restaurant xD

IB is....it's just a diploma that let's the whole world's university recognize you. There's also the AP diplomas, for US. But to tell the truth..I'm not sure what IB is used for. It just seems to be a requirement with so many people taking it. rofl

AP only allows us to take college courses in US, but IB allows us to take it worldwide 3nodding

I just realized, IB is basically an international Bachelor's degree in high school.

IB isn't easy, it's really hard. You still have to do 150 hrs of CAS ><
