I just failed my entrance test in terms of math because I can't answer all the questions stare and why? because I forgot evil I did study those things before, but just that I forgot gonk gonk I got a feeling they are gonna put me back in 8th grade maths just for that while my other classmates will be studying 10th grade maths stare

10th grade math..I think it's algebra 2...don't know, since this school's system is different from my previous one >< Which is the trouble...this school's is more American-ized, so they take like algebra in grade 8, geo in grade 9 and algebra 2 in grade 10.

For my previous school, we cover both algebra and geo slightly in grade 8 and goes deeper and deeper as we further along.

That's odd. Here it's PreAlgebra in Grade 8, Algebra 1 in 9th, Geo in 10th, Alg2 in 11th, and Trig/Calc in 12th.

Really? o.O I thought it's pre-algebra in grade 7? o.O And I'm not sure what we do in grade 12 though...I think it's calculus. wait...then how about pre-calc? You guys don't have that? @.@

I am suppose to be in grade 11, but due to the different school system in local Malaysian school and Chinese international school, I have to be in grade 10 T^T

I don't remember what kinda math I had in 7th Grade. Pre-calc is available for Gifted students I believe.

That sucks. Its the same here, I'm supposed to be a senior, though I'm in an 11th grade home room. But I have senior classes though.
