Well, I'm curious about it. Is it worth the money, how does it compare to intuos for example.

I don't know, but I saw someone use a Cintiq in a demonstration workshop before, and personally, I don't think it makes much difference .__. Maybe it's just that I am used to just looking at the screen while using the tablet rather than looking at the screen on that tablet itself...

how about you? What type of tablet do you have? :3

Ok, so I don't have one, yet. But if you ask me, it's not worth it. Why? Because a 19" TV cost only less than $300 and a 12" Cintiq cost $999! And a Cintiq is virtually just a TV with pen sensors. But on that note, is any Wacom product worth it? No, they are all overpriced, but they are the only real option we have, so.... not much choice there.

I have Intuos 5x8 inches and I'm very satisfied with it.

The price is not a big deal, I mean with one digital painting paid by professional rates one could earn a wacom tablet.

But yes, cintiq is a bit on the pricy side.

No, Bai, I think you have 4x6 Intuous. Well, it's not much difference if you're just drawing people and whatnot. But if you're trying to draw cars and buildings, drawing a good circle or line using Intous is downright ridiculous too.... with Cintiq you can even put a ruler right on the thing!

My only complain: can't Wacom make something between 12" and 21" One too small, the other too big and expensive!!!

I'm asking around. Maybe in the future. I want a heap of art books first, then I want me a laptop... and then I want a Mac. So... it would be pretty low on the list for now.
