"I think... I think we might have..." Tara wasn't sure how to tell him.

He went a bit red, "I have afraid of that." He said, knowing what she was getting at.

"Look um... I think you had better leave..." Tara said and took a few steps back. "I'm sure someone is getting worried about you..."

He bit his lip, "Well, I'm here on my own, like I said..." But he sensed that she wanted him gone. He sighed, "Do me a favor?" He grabbed a nearby envelope and scribbled a number down, "Take a... um... a test today, just in case. Alright?" He asked, "That's my number if anything come up.." He turned to go, feeling awkward.

Tara took the envelope. "If I am you won't know." She said before turning and walking up the stairs to her bedroom.

He felt a small prickle of annoyance, Her life... He reminded himself. He scribbled another note on the note pad before leaving, it read: "If you are.. I'd like to know what you decide to do. Not an unreasonable request if it is mine." And then exited the house.

Tara sat down on her bed and sighed. "Oh god... If I'm pregnant that will throw everything off balance." She picked up her phone and dialed her best friends number.
