Chica art is worth as much as it is because she's an amazingly talented artist, and lots of people want her. She would be constantly swamped if her prices were really low.
Besides, if you're nice to her, like I am, you get freebies.

I'm pretty sure people will bid on art, just because it has someone's name on it...And i'm pretty sure many people would agree with me on that.

I just don't like how someone can say a sarcastic remark like 'oo, I think it's funny how blah blah' Don't have to be a b***h about it, you can tell me NICELY that it's worth more, instead of trying to make me out to be stupid.

Really!? That's wonderful! I've been working on some RL commissions too, but I had to raise my prices. x-x I was getting overloaded. But they're still pretty cheap. (Generally between $7 and $15)

Hmm, I haven't seen any of your auctions lately. I've mostly been trying to find bidders for mine. x__x

No one pays a price based on someone's name, and if they do that's their own business. Before you open a thread like this you might want to fish around and see what people charge around here. No one really cares how you value art, since you aren't the one doing the work, but to see how low you value anything, it's a little pathetic in my opinion.

Hope you get all the crappy art you're looking for.

And for the record, I've had threads like these for many months now, and I've never had a incident like this, i usually overcharge, but this just happened to be a case of poor judgement. You just happened to stroll in here, make a comment about how i don't know how to price anything, to basiclly make me out to look stupid. Instead of saying 'I think it's funny...' You could have said, 'I think you should know that her art is worth more then that...'

I totally agree that people will bid in an auction and pay high prices because there's a name attached, but it's the art that made that name big. I thought everyone knew this...?

For one thing, I said lay down a base price, or I'll tell you what I'm willing to pay for it. That gives the seller a chance to say what they want for it, she didn't do that. And i'm not trying to tell anyone what their work value is, i'm just saying how much I'm willing to pay for it. I'm not trying to disrespect anyone here, I'm just trying to buy art. And you're right, what the hell do I know, but, there you go again. How do you know, that i don't know these things? You're acting again as if you're higher then me.

Dont you take artists work forgranted, it takes A LOT of patience and work to get a good decent masterpiece.

Even sketching you need to clean up and make it look good, so dont ASSUME that just because your PURCHASING the art you can just tell someone your paying that much and they'll agree.
