I'm surprised it hasn't really rained yet. There was a bit of sleet but that's about it. It hasn't snowed that much since the first day, but it's been on and off. And to think my stepdad spent all day yesterday driving his employees around XD I guess that's what happens when you're the ONLY PERSON who knows how to drive in this stuff. Also, snowplows are like non existent here O_o it's weird.

We're used to snow here XD It's been kind of lacking, though, in the past few years, so it was kind of cool to see snow near Christmas this year.

yeah basically. I mean, the freeways are all plowed, but there's no way to get to them because all the other roads are snow filled! Also, it's nasty to go up and down some of the streets that have truck traffic on it. (We live right down the road from a frito lay factory XD) I mean, some of the buildings that are closer to the road are just spattered with mud. it's pretty nasty D:

NYC snow is horrible XD It's just...really cold, wet grime.

Long Island has stretches of nice snow, though, away from the roads. There are a bunch of industrial buildings and offices by me that have huge lawns that no one touches, so there are just huge sheets of white~ heart

We used to get a lot more...it was so much more fun ;.;

Now it's just like..."ughhhh snow?"

Wow that sounds totally cool! We're all housing so nothing goes untouched XD

I remember when I used to hang out with neighborhood kids before i moved and we made igloos with windows made with sheets of ice we'd pull from various locations. it was really awesome.

Then I became a scrooge. Truthfully, I really dislike christmas. I enjoy giving gifts, but I'll do that on my own time because I can, not because it's christmas. I'm much more enjoyable this year though. I'm not sure why. Perhaps it is because of this artshop XD

Yeah, snow used to be so much more exciting. Snowball fights, digging tunnels, launching yourself (or others) into snowbanks XD

It used to be a big production, when it snowed, first the begging to stay home, then the watching of the local news to see the closings, then the rejoicing if we got a snow day, or even a delay XD

Christmas was more fun when I was younger, but now I'm like...meh. I don't want much, I never know what to get anyone else, then there's the whole shopping ordeal.

It's not like I can get into the religious aspect, either.

This year is slightly better than the previous few, because both of my brothers are home, and so we're all together this Christmas.

We also can't have a tree anymore, which kind of takes away from the whole spirit of decorating.

We put up decorated paper towels as a joke XD They actually stayed there. We're horrible.

Lucky! XD My mom called and told me not to eat pizza cos she was bringing food home. Dunno when that'll be though...

Maddie can't have a tree either, but she's used to it. She's almost ALWAYS had too many cats for a tree! XD They all try to climb it...(also, her mom totally spoils them all and doesn't punish them. We punish our cats thoroughly with the spray bottle. >:0 They know to stay out of our ******** tree.)

Though I don't like trees either XDDD I managed to get out of decorating in this year. They hate our tree but I love it! It's fake and all the lights are already on it! My parent's complaaain because it tiiiilts and they don't like the cooooloors but b***h please, that's like 75% of the hassle taken out right there! XD
