looks like we share similar roots xd
When I was just starting out, I taught myself to draw people with Pokemon as a baseline
I actually used a ruler to draw the chins, and i could only draw from the front

you have noooo idea how many stiff, front-facing character designs I have scattered through my old sketch books - it's soooo sad.... rofl
well, at least I can laugh about it now

I didn't use rulers, but the stiff, front facing characters scattering my old art collection is DEFINITELY the same feeling! XD

But I was wondering if you'd be interested in starting a freebie thread with me?
It could be a place where we can relax and do some stress free art. Choosing who and when we draw, plus I'm sure we'd make some friends-and hey, advertising for our shops wouldn't be too bad either!
Anyways, it's up to you~

I dunno, sometimes I feel obliged to do the art. Sometimes it piles up. Not to say it isn't do-able, but sometimes I don't want to work on that, or something isn't working out for me. So having a place to turn to where I can loosely scribble on a blank canvas would be nice :3
Good exorcise, practice AND someone getting a freebie XP
Plus we could just give out loose sketches-which can be done super quickly, versus the polished stuff we normally sell :>

I would do that color idea, but unfortunately I've tried it before and there are just so many complications that I'd rather avoid it XD

If you're up to it, then I could make a thread and have you as a guest artist or whatever? XD then you can back out whenever you'd like without any penalty (as if I'd attack you for it anyways lol, but this is less... Permenant I guess? XD)
