That sounds fun! ^u^ Mine was just okay. I made a small traditional dinner and we played video games. Looks like Christmas will be just as quiet.
At least you were able to spend it with someone you love, right..? ^^;
Personally, I'm all for small gatherings. The smaller, the better. I don't really like "crowds" or "groups". I even felt the urge to bolt after being at my parents' place for only a couple hours... Managed to last about 5 before I left. Good thing I had to get up insanely early the next morning for work. Gave me a valid reason to leave early to get some sleep.
I'm more of a "keep it to a group of 5 max" kinda girl. Big gatherings just make me feel... out of place..? Idk. x3
3nodding I agree. There is usually 6 of us, but there were only 3 this time. I grew up attending big holiday gatherings at Gramma's house. She cooked a huge turkey and and all the kids play together. They are fond memories considering none of my aunts and uncles actually get along. sweatdrop No one dared start drama at Gramma's house though. So inside I love to get together with family on holidays, but I don't have many I care about anymore.
