Oh I'm not denying it was fun.
I played it for a few years myself, if you recall.

However.

It just got too ridiculous when Blizzard started turning the game into ez-mode.
All those changes they started making at the end of WotLK...
And then the goblins and werewolves and...
Plus basically opening every class to every race, some combinations of which were just plain absurd.

Yeah.

It just didn't feel like the same game anymore.
And with all the overhauls that the talent trees kept receiving and changes to abilities...

I dunno. It just wasn't fun for me anymore.

Eh, that's fine. I like some of the changes.
I really like what they did with paladins, honestly. Pretty much every
talent is viable in some way and changing talents is easier now, which
lets you customize for certain boss fights and such.

After all the changes, my Death Knight just wasn't as enjoyable to play as she used to be.
And she's really the only reason I was still playing WoW during the whole Lich King expansion.
Of course, I agreed with several of the changes made shortly after WotLK's launch.
Death Knight was severely overpowered.

But they managed to balance the class out fairly well after that.
And I'm not sure why, but I enjoyed it immensely.

However, once Bliz started changing up the talent trees and everything...
Reworking base skills and all that...
Yeah, I dunno.

My Druid didn't feel quite as enjoyable after that, either.
Alas.

They changed tree form to look retarded.
And they glyphed that so you'd change into the Treant if you wanted.
Then they changed that glyph so you could go Treant anytime you want
basically like it used to be, but it's purely cosmetic and using the actual
tree buff turns you into the ugly tree form again.

But at least now the name Entwife makes sense on my druid. : P

Gawd...

I remember all the outrage when they changed Tree Form from an actual shapeshift to a time-limited buff.
It was a sad, sad day--the day that Tree Druids died.
In fact, I died a little inside myself.

...even though my Druid was a big owl chick with antlers.
