I'm trying to get a edgier look to my style and a little less anime like.

Ohoo, I see. I'm used to drawing chibi, but I can stumble my way through srscat work.

The only thing is that I put too much emphasis on the head, since it's a big deal with SD/Chibi work. Then either I make women too masculine or men too feminine. The only difficult part I really have with men is not giving them boobs/hips, since that's the best part about making the ladies. rofl

Oh my God. i know EXACTLY what you mean. I always start with the legs and the hips when I draw females, and often I end up making them guys because I realize halfway through it'll look shitty other wise so I go back and take out the thicker legs and the curvy hips to replace them with the sick look and what not. Haha. I suck so bad at drawing noses. :/

So far I have almost his head done, he looks... Weird. I doubt he's what you want him to look like...
